It is a pleasure and priveledge being a part of a your big life events. It is a great feeling to be a part of someones special day. For weddings I enjoy working with the couple to get it just right. It's all about them and what they want. I enjoy a relaxed yet slightly formal environment. I would love to hear from you to discuss your day if you think we would be a good fit. When does it pay to have a seasoned professional on board? Well - when things don't quite go to plan. My 11 years as a celebrant came into play today when as the bride was seconds from walking down the aisle the heavens opened. A quick 15 minutes later the ceremony was reset and started inside. The Tarureka Estate team, Yvonne Liew Photography were superstars and everyone was thrilled to have a little pre ceremony champagne 🍾 sometimes you just need to go with the flow, because actually all that matters is the people you share that moment with. Congratulations Sophie and James on your moment.

More and more couples are asking me to come on board as their MC only. Because they have the ceremony side sorted. It's such a cool job, that of course I say yes. It's so much easier when a professional is on board. Here's Megs review for my MC service.

Some days are full celebrant days. Yesterday was one of them and rather fitting in my anniversary week. A funeral in the morning, a wedding in the afternoon, answering new enquiries and an interview with a new couple to finish the day. All rewarding in different ways and I love it.

This week it's 11 years since I became a celebrant. I love my job and every wedding, funeral, MC gig I walk away thinking how privileged I am to be there in these moments with people. This is from a recent Celebrant and MC gig. It really was so much fun and it's nights like these that seal it even more that I am doing what I should be.
Yesterday at a sporting event a couple came up to me to say hi. It's super special to have these connections with people and to see them again.

Thanks to all my couples and families over the last 11 years and as always thanks to Kelly who kickstarted all of this.

I'm completing the last of my pre meetings for the upcoming weddings and I have lots of interviews for couples getting sorted for the following seasons. What a time and what a job.
