Over the past couple of months, we've been honouring the work our local schools do in the best way we know how - with food.

Teachers do so much for our children and wider communities, and a thank you in the staffroom felt like the least we could do. So we've visited four schools that our children go to and turned up with Wellington's best sushi, Sushi Bi , alongside trays of our famous brownie.

Watching the staffrooms light up when we arrived was a real highlight.

It's meant a lot to the Sushi Bi team and to us to put delicious food in front of the people who shape our kids' days. To every teacher, TA and office legend we got to feed, thank you for the work you do.

It was a real pleasure to cater for Partridge Jewellers to celebrate luxury Parisian brand Messika and their stunning collection.

An evening like this calls for catering that matches the room. Our team curated a canapé menu designed to complement the champagne service - elegant small bites that guests could enjoy while taking in all of the beautiful pieces Partridge and Messika have to offer.

What we learned catering for one of Wellington's most iconic events, by

1️⃣ Festival energy is contagious. Our team didn't just show up and execute — they fed off the crowd, the music, and the moment. That energy showed up in the food and the service, and the crowd felt it.

2️⃣ Speed and quality aren't opposites. They just require smarter thinking. When you engineer a menu properly from the start, you can move fast and plate something worth talking about. Our chefs absolutely nailed it.

3️⃣ We can build a kitchen almost anywhere. Give us a brief, a power source, and a footprint — we'll handle the rest.

4️⃣ Most importantly: this is what we do at scale. High volume, high pressure, high expectations. It's where Food Envy is at its best.
