We are so excited to have so many amazing opportunities and events at the newly opened New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC).

This week we are back for Business Events Industry Aotearoa MEETINGS and the EXPO stand for Auckland Airport.

Getting to know all the staff and the venues rooms and corridors with each event. With 2 jobs down and another 7 in the calender, we are feeling very blessed we have so many cool clients taking us on their journey and bringing us to Auckland ♡

Lizz Santos is beyond excited to use her photographs on giant chandeliers and centerpieces for ICRS 2026 at New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) for Conference Innovators in July.

Sponsoring the International Coral Reef Symposium has been a special project for us and as you all know as a scuba diver, Lizz has the ocean very close to her heart.

She is purposfully recycling materials for this job, making use of perspex we have used before and layering ideas.

Tieing her two great passions together is awesome! Thank you Terri Lowsley for having her along for the ride......or dive 😉

This weeks challenge:

to re-stage a hugely successfully EXPO Stand for Auckland Airport which premiered last week at TRENZ and recreate for Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) MEETINGS mid-June.

From an 11mt x 11mts square to an 18mt x 5mt rectangular space.

Keeping the key elements, juggling the space, manage a new position, in the same venue: New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC).

Very excited to present this again in a few weeks......same same but different!

Inspiration;

The blue & white light sculpture over the Auckland Airport stand at TRENZ this year was inspired by the yarn instilation in departures.

The string sculpture at the Auckland Airport International Terminal is a vibrant yarn installation titled "Sun showers" by Minnesota-based installation artist Eric Reiger, also known as HOT TEA.

I wanted to create the same movement in coloured light between the blue and white and touch of yellow also present in the AKL brand.

Last day of TRENZ and its humming in the Auckland Airport & Visit Auckland Lounge with 395 coffees made today so far bring the total up to 1037 over the duration of the event.

A great team on the machine!

We have been delivering the coffees to delegates at their meetings, taking the stress out of waiting for their beverages, another special addition to the services of the lounge.

We are unbelievably proud of this years Auckland Airport joint lounge with Visit Auckland at TRENZ at New Zealand International Convention Centre

This is our 10th year creating the Airports lounge and we have gone for a very different looking & feel; natural light and breezy ocean vibes.......

Our overhead sculptural light instilation sits under banners and over our bespoke coffee counter.

The light sculpture is inspired by the hanging art in the International Airport and adds a funky element to the grounded colour pallette.

Lizz Santos has worked on each element meticulously.

Thanks again to Spencer & Scott for not only believing in me but also for letting me fly with ideas. To Lynn Robinson for a hugely fun design buddy. ♡
