Back in Wellington for 2 jobs in the capital. First up the wonderful Natalie Meki - we have known each other a while now and I have had the pleasure of working with her on many occasions.

This morning ASB Bank had a breckfast event in the city and we had the pleasure of setting the scene at the venue.

This afternoon we had the pleasure of working in the Massey University - Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa - Great Hall.

Thank you to Mike Bridgman & Lucy Shand for entrusting us with this design and important milestone for the University.

Adding furniture, drape walls, greenery & and overhead chandelier, to change the look and feel of this venue.

Today the team were in Wellington early this morning creating wonder in ICON at Te Papa for the first in a 3 city tour for NZ Trade Group over the next 3 weeks..... the theme of the cocktail function, was Prohibition Speakeasy.

Thanks to Haley Beardsall for trusting us with this passion project and Ann-Marie Wickman for putting us forward as the event design agency.

Once in a lifetime your passions collide and today the Ocean & Event Design did just that in a spectacular way.......

At New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) in the EXPO Halls with support from Terri Lowsley & Conference Innovators, Lizz Santos was allowed to create some Ocean statements in her 3 Chadelier instalation for International Coral Reef Symposium and Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington .

Re-purposed perspex, her original underwater photos and our unique creative flair, using texture and inspiration from ghost netting, crown of thorns and the warming currents in the ocean.........

In 24 years we have always traveled; city & country hopping, to complete work for our clients in pretty much every city in both the North & South Islands and beyond - its always been normal practice for us.

Its one of the reasons we have been based in Wellington - in the middle of the country.

This ability to manage the logistics, transport containers, pack trucks, transport designs and build relationships all around the country with suppliers, venues and contractors, is rare for an Event Design company here in NZ.

Lizz Santos got back from Finland just 8 weeks ago and since then we have completed 8 jobs - 3 in Wellington and 6 in Auckland.

In the next 8 weeks we have 10 jobs - 2 in Wellington, 1 in Dunedin & 7 in Auckland.

The flexibility can been seen clearly here with more than 2/3 of our work outside our home base.

The Trans-Tasman Dinner has been a staple event at the Australian High Commission in Wellington for many years.

This is the 3rd year we have had the pleasure of creating it for Anita Denzel.

A walk down Business Events Industry Aotearoa (BEIA) MEETINGS over the years....

Holly Eason reminded me this morning about the stands we used to produce when we exhibited ourselves..... bless Michelle Bird tried to get us back several times!

Our first was in 2012 - "Out of the Box"
2013 - The Apothecary
2015 - Madam Santos
2017 - The Potting Shed
2019 - The Fitting Room

Each stand was a creative experience from our mad ideas crammed into a cardboard box to mixing potions and designs from different jars, fortune telling and predicting your event, to planting the seed - mustard of course - nurturing relationships and ideas to fitting you for your tailor-made designed event, we did it all!
