Tonight is a special night at Auckland War Memorial Museum.

NZ Trade Group are celebrating their peeps tonight in an elegant fashion with a black & gold theme marking this auspicious year of legends.

We were a very small part of this event, suppling centrepieces and accents to this Awards Night.

Trying something new, light from the top, decals that reflected the nights slides on stage and a design that flowed from the vase to the plate of the centrepiece......

Thank you Ann-Marie Wickman for having us add some magic to the night and of course, Haley Beardsall & Tait Grindley great to be working with you guys again.

With every big job there are the smaller ones which are as important.

I flew down to Wellington this morning to pack-in for the Secondary Schools Sports Conference for Brooke Miller and Conference Innovators at Tākina.

Good to be in Wellington and back working with the team at Tākina Events.

What started as a 5am call and a hugely labour intensive job, my crew of 7 busted out this beauty in only 12hours.......no pack-in day.

Im incredibly proud of this design, meticuously planned for over 4 months with so many changes out of our control, but I weathered each challenge and with the help of some incredible sub-contractors, and yet again, we pulled it off!

Thank you to everyone that helped get this across the line - Nicola Dalgetty Shaun Dalgetty Sally Bunce Sean Boyd Matt Mcfarlane Niki Hayes Kris Taylor Anna Dales, Kelly Laurence & Sue. Exhibition Hire Services NZ Show Light and Power HapPea Events Hire Plants La Lumiere Darby & Grey Event Hire

Once in a lifetime your passions collide and today the Ocean & Event Design did just that in a spectacular way.......

At New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) in the EXPO Halls with support from Terri Lowsley & Conference Innovators, Lizz Santos was allowed to create some Ocean statements in her 3 Chadelier instalation for International Coral Reef Symposium and Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington .

Re-purposed perspex, her original underwater photos and our unique creative flair, using texture and inspiration from ghost netting, crown of thorns and the warming currents in the ocean.........

Thanks to those who we're a big part to this crazy idea Show Light and Power Kapiti Signs♡

In 24 years we have always traveled; city & country hopping, to complete work for our clients in pretty much every city in both the North & South Islands and beyond - its always been normal practice for us.

Its one of the reasons we have been based in Wellington - in the middle of the country.

This ability to manage the logistics, transport containers, pack trucks, transport designs and build relationships all around the country with suppliers, venues and contractors, is rare for an Event Design company here in NZ.

Lizz Santos got back from Finland just 8 weeks ago and since then we have completed 8 jobs - 3 in Wellington and 6 in Auckland.

In the next 8 weeks we have 10 jobs - 2 in Wellington, 1 in Dunedin & 7 in Auckland.

The flexibility can been seen clearly here with more than 2/3 of our work outside our home base.
