UPDATE: So, how about 2020 eh? With half the year gone and the summer months well on their way, it's time for me to do a long overdue life update. After eight years in the mighty Manawatu, me and the whanau are now living in Wellington. This means I am now open for bookings in the Wellington and Wairarapa regions. I am wanting to do things differently though... I'm super keen to be involved in smaller weddings, or short-notice weddings, quirky weddings and well, just about any weddings - but may not yet be able to commit to weddings 18m+ out in advance like days gone by (because, life). Today I officiated at my last planned wedding, and it was a cracker at Orlando Country 💒 💐 💕 A + R are bloody hard cases and I just loved every second of their day. I bet they are partying well in to the evening tonight! Congrats guys! This year I’m relocating to Wellington so I’m taking a break from wedding bookings until I’m set up again. But I am free to do last minute calls ups, back ups or (my favourite) surprise weddings that aren’t booked for 2035 😂 I have loved getting to know some of Manawatū’s best spots to get hitched, meet some amazing people and be a part of their special day. And I am looking forward to seeing what’s new in Wellington - eight years after I left!

Today I had the pleasure of marrying Mike and Sarah at Caroline’s in Aokautere. Beautiful spot and holy moly, what a beautiful and emotional wedding. Lots and LOTS of tears but man, that’s good for the soul and just showed the very tender love between these two 🥰 So with that, my 2018/2019 wedding season is over. It has been a busy summer and my heart is very full 💜 Thank you so much to all the couples who let me have a part in their special day. So proud of my lovely celebrant friend Nelson Celebrant - Rosemary Lelo who amongst the sadness of the Nelson fires, pulled off a wedding to remember 🔥 💕 Congrats to the happy couple, I don’t think anyone will forget this wedding in a hurry!

The fires nearly stopped their wedding, instead the firefighter and the bride said their vows as sirens went off.
