We have lived, worked and breathed with this bloke. One of the cleanest producers I have heard - it's his back catalogue that really blows my socks off. Truly a don on and off the stage. If we had a label that could sign a man like this, we would have already done it.

We are extremely excited and proud to officially announce the debut release on Kickon Records will be none other than the mighty MDNZ!
MDNZ found his passion for music through being exposed to the likes of Pendulum and The Prodigy from an early age. Touching on his curiosity at age 11 he began the process of learning how to DJ and produce Drum & Bass. Skip forward to 2019, MDNZ had crafted his sound and was signed to ÜPthemusic before going independent in 2021. His first EP release “Snatch and Grab” was taken extremely well by his New Zealand fan base where he played the 2020 Lot Party alongside headline artist Montell2099 and closed UP the Underground following TREI.
MDNZ has been a close friend of ours for quite some time, it seemed only right that he’d be the first artist to release music on our label. Not only a great friend but a great musician. He has been a huge inspiration to the both of us with the work he has produced and the energy he brings to a crowd.
