๐ CALLING ALL ARTISTS, MAKERS & CREATIVES! CHRISTMAS POP-UP SHOP OPPORTUNITIES IN PORIRUA & LOWER HUTT๐
Have you ever dreamed of having your own retail space, showcasing your creations, or testing the waters of running a shop? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Alongside running my own market events, I also work on exciting projects with Kai Tahi and Hutt City Council, helping bring empty retail spaces to life and creating vibrant, engaging places for people to shop, explore and connect.
With Christmas just around the corner, we're working on some fantastic pop-up retail opportunities across Lower Hutt, and we're looking for talented artists, makers, creatives and small businesses to be part of them! โจ
There are currently TWO exciting opportunities available:
๐๏ธ OPPORTUNITY ONE: POP-UP SHOPS AT KAI TAHI
We're looking for 6 retailers to join us at Kai Tahi, with pop-up shops located in the central area near the food court, offering great foot traffic and visibility.
โจ What's on offer?
6 individual pop-up retail spaces
A basic shop setup for you to make your own
Free marketing opportunities on the large digital billboard outside
An affordable, low-cost way to test your products and retail potential
The possibility of exploring lockable shop options, depending on interest and commitment
A few things to know: These spaces won't initially be lockable, so you'll need to cover your products or use a retractable barrier when closing.

Trading expectations: Throughout November and December, with the option to continue into the new year.
๐ Minimum opening hours: WednesdayโSunday, 11amโ5.30pm.
You'll also be responsible for your own marketing and promotion. However, we can offer additional exposure through free advertising on Kai Tahi's large external digital screen, as well as promotional opportunities across Kai Tahi's online social media channels.
It's a fantastic opportunity to increase your visibility, build your brand and connect directly with new customers!
๐ฌ OPPORTUNITY TWO: RIVERSIDE ARCADE, HIGH STREET, LOWER HUTT
We're excited to be bringing a brand new pop-up retail arcade to High Street, Lower Hutt โ Riverside Arcade!
This new retail destination will feature 8 pop-up shop spaces, creating an opportunity for local creatives and small businesses to showcase their products in a dedicated retail environment.

2 larger retail spaces with window frontage
6 smaller retail spaces
Solid walls and retractable doors, allowing your shop to be securely closed and locked
An additional secondary lock for added security
Marketing support through the Hutt Valley NZ website and online social channels
An opportunity to establish your brand in a new retail destination

Trading expectations: Throughout November and December, with the option to continue into the new year.
๐ Minimum opening hours: TuesdayโSunday, 10amโ5pm.
You'll receive some additional promotional support, but you'll also be responsible for your own marketing and helping drive customers to your business.
๐ฐ AFFORDABLE, FLEXIBLE & FULL OF POTENTIAL
Both locations will offer spaces starting from a minimum size of 3m x 3m, with low weekly rental fees.
Please note that all retailers will be responsible for their own power and wi-fi costs, in addition to their weekly rental fees.
