Boogie Juice Events and Full Time Senders present

SYRUP with Friends

SYRUP combines the musical stylings of two of New Zealand's beloved house music selectors, TETO & SAMMIE.

TETO & SAMMIE discovered their shared love for deep baselines and silky smooth vocals in 2019 and with that, SYRUP was born.

After only a few short months as a duo, SYRUP was invited to perform at some of New Zealand's top festivals including Hidden Valley, Baseline festival and Rhythm & Vines. With new original music on the horizon for both TETO & SAMMIE and a summer tour, SYRUP are set to make their mark on the NZ dance music scene this year.

Exuberance, edge, and bucket loads of passion are a few ways to describe Waja, Auckland’s
bass loving Producer/DJ.
Widely known for her stage presence and energy while performing the Waja brand has gone from strength to strength, she has spent the last three years evolving her taste and style to a niche amongst a scene that favoritisms everything but.

Rising in a heavily saturated Drum & Bass era as a Bass artist has proved difficult but not so much for Waja. Over the last year she has found herself representing her music on stages at some of New Zealand’s largest festivals Rhythm & Vines and Mardi Gras.

Alongside other festivals such as Deep Hard n Funky, Bush Doof vol.10 and Spring Break
Vanuatu 2019, she also has an impressive track record in supporting many international artists. Holy Goof, Dirty Phonics, Infect, Virus Syndicate, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Monxx, Enschway,
Twerl, Barely Alive, Bandelz & Dodge & Fuski are her biggest feats, helping pave the way for her creative outlet.

Alongside her comfortable position on stage, Waja has over the last two years found herself delving into electronic music production. After her release of two remixes and one original single, it is obvious her personal sound has emerged from a very early stage paving the way for
many more immersive projects to come.

This is WAJA’s first show in Wellington with a stacked support lineup from Wellingtons finest in garage & breaks.
