Before we began throwing parties across Aotearoa, 22Tango, Everybody and Vino Paradiso spent a decade in London digging, DJing and fusing our collections into what eventually became the blueprint for the Tempo Schmempo sound. For the uninitiated, thatā€™s all things fun, funky, energetic, euphoric, deep, driving, weird and wonderful.

After dusting off the cobwebs at our last sold out party in Te Whanganui-A-Tara, weā€™ve decided itā€™s time to reintroduce ourselves to WhakatÅ« with our first proper all-night session together in over six years. And we couldnā€™t think of a better place to do it than our annual party at our favourite spot, DeVille.

Expect an extended journey through the music thatā€™s shaped our dance floors over the years, along with a healthy dose of the scorchers that are currently burning holes through every party we play.

As one of founders of The Schmempire, Vijayā€™s joyful love of raving, festivals and Soundsystem culture set the foundations for everything we do. Oh and did we mention heā€™s a weapon behind the decks?
