Last year ventured south for a run of shows in Wānaka and Queenstown promoted by and supported by . Needless to say we had an absolute blast.

Part of the fun was Rare Specimens getting to remix one of Yurt Party’s tunes - “Hot Pickles” from their self titled debut. We released it as a free download on Bandcamp and dived into playing the shows.

A year later we circled back and realised it needed an official release - So, Hot Pickles (Rare Specimens Remix) will be officially released on all streaming platforms tomorrow (yes…even the evil ones 🙄) for your listening pleasure.

You can still pick it up for free on Bandcamp too…
