From birthday surprises to beautiful new arrivals, thank you for your service, special events and all the little moments in between — it’s been another busy week at Flowers on Pollen!

Sunday gratitude 🌿

There were lots of birthdays — bright flowers, happy messages and plenty of reasons to celebrate another trip around the sun. 🎂🌸

And there were lots of sympathy and memorial flowers too — quieter moments, thoughtful messages and flowers being sent when finding the right words can be really hard.

We even squeezed in a rather impromptu wedding along the way. 🤍 and graduation flowers for clever humans starting new chapters in their lives 🧑‍🎓

One of the things I’m always grateful for is just how many different moments in people’s lives we get trusted to be a tiny part of.

And this week we received some really lovely feedback from customers, but one little line from Anna particularly stuck with me:

“Being far away from loved ones is hard, so being able to know you do lovely work is so helpful.”

I think sometimes, amongst the buckets, orders, deliveries and general chaos of a flower shop, it’s easy to forget that part.

We’re not just sending flowers from one place to another. Quite often we’re helping someone show up for a person they love when they can’t physically be there themselves.

So this Sunday I’m grateful for that trust. ❤️

For the happy occasions, the difficult ones and all the moments in between that you ask us to help with.

And for the lovely messages that occasionally stop us in our tracks and remind us why we do it. 💛

Another week of flowers for some pretty significant moments 🌸

This week we’ve had some BIG birthdays to celebrate, alongside casket flowers and sympathy arrangements made for families saying goodbye.

And we’ve been creating wreaths for today’s Battle of Britain commemorations — work we’re always incredibly proud to be trusted with.

A little highlight behind the scenes was Hayley getting to make her very first wreath 💛 She was SO excited to have the opportunity to do one and did such a beautiful job.

That’s one of the things we’re really grateful for in a week like this. Floristry is such a broad craft, and getting the opportunity to make those more specific, less-everyday pieces is pretty special — especially when it gives our team the chance to keep learning, practising and growing their skills.

From celebrating another trip around the sun, to honouring a life or remembering those who served, thank you for trusting us with the flowers that mark the moments that matter.

As we look back on a few of our favourites this week 💐🌸 I’m especially grateful for our team.

For showing up, doing an awesome job, making beautiful flowers and, most importantly, taking really good care of our customers.

Because of them, Mike and I have been able to step away and have the weekend off to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary — weekends off don’t happen very often for us.

So there’s something pretty special about being able to have some days away knowing the shop, the flowers and our customers are in such capable and caring hands.

Very grateful for the people who make Flowers on Pollen what it is. 🌸 and for the incredible community who support us.

Enjoying a weekend to recharge the batteries. 💛

Father’s Day is tomorrow! 💙

Still looking for the perfect little something for Dad? Our team has rounded up some of their favourites — from sweet treats and plants to plenty of other goodies in store.

And don’t rule out flowers! 💐 Dads love receiving them too (and we think they deserve a bunch just as much as anyone 😉).

We’re in store today from 9–2, so pop in and let us help you find something he’ll love.

And for the very last-minute Father’s Day crowd 😅 we’ll have a selection of grab & go flowers and plants at Pak’nSave tomorrow from 8am–8pm. 💙
