Charles and Brooklyn - Saturday 3rd Jan 2026

This morning began with steady rain… and then, right on cue, the sun broke through just in time. After sealing their marriage and family at the temple earlier today, this beautiful couple gathered again for an intimate vow renewal at Brooklyn’s marae — a place of deep meaning, connection, and aroha.

As the families moved on to celebrate together, the rain clouds gently rolled back in, as if the day itself knew its moment had passed. 🌧️☀️

A truly special day — grounded in faith, culture, whānau, and love. I feel honoured to have witnessed and held space for such a meaningful blessing of their marriage and family.

On the 7th of November 25, I officiated my first wedding.
Jack and Charlotte are an amazing,fun,beautiful couple.
Was an absolute honor and truly blessed with the trust they placed in me.

Was a magical day full of love, laughter, happy tears and spilled champagne 🍾
