Today we say goodbye to our Maryke đź–¤
If you have been into our store over the last 4 years you most likely have met her.
Maryke came with her family from South Africa to live in NZ & only a few weeks after they arrived NZ went into its first covid lockdown. A new country, new people, only a handful of friends they knew, it was an immigration to remember.
When we advertised for someone she came bouncing in, so enthusiastic it was kind of a no brainer. She brought an energy, and fun and was so willing and happy to be working, and that hasn’t changed.
Maryke has been with me through the toughest parts of my business journey & personal journey. She is a close friend now, family, and I am so sad to see her go, but know that this is part of her journey now to discover new places & people & expand her world.
Mary K, we will miss you terribly, & as said will welcome you back anytime. We love you & wish you all the best. They are lucky to have you.
