Four weeks to go until our summer events season kicks off! 😳 • the crew is growing, the furniture’s getting a spruce up, and for the first time ever ... our marquee lineup now comes in widths of 4m, 6m, 8m & 10m ~ customisable in length, perfect for anything from an intimate dinner for 10 to a party for 500.

It always feels like the summer events season is miles away, and then suddenly ~ BAM ~ we’re here, doing what we love most. How flippin’ lucky are we?!

• What was your entrance song?
Entrance song was Destination Calabria

• What’s your ultimate top tip for planning the perfect wedding day?
The scope for what you can include in your wedding day is almost endless! Sit down with your partner early on and discuss which aspects of the wedding day mean the most to you both. We came up with a list of 5 and then prioritised our time/effort/spend on these as we knew they would make our day that much more special.

• Any advice specifically for brides planning a marquee wedding?
The Twelve Tables team do a fantastic job at helping plan out options for marquee layout - they know their stuff so my tip is to make the most of this!

• And lastly, what moment from your wedding day stands out as your absolute favourite?
It's hard to narrow down to just one but the dance party at the end with all our family and friends really topped off what was the very best day.

• What was your entrance & first dance song?
Our entrance song was "A Good Night" by John Legend & BloodPop, and our first dance song was "You’re Still the One" by Teddy Swims.

• What’s your ultimate top tip for planning the perfect wedding day?
Hire vendors who are true experts! Read and trust those with lots of 5-star reviews. They will make all the preparations leading up to your day as smooth as possible and will be able to give you guidance on things as a bride-to-be that you may not have thought of. Don’t skimp on a day-of coordinator! I couldn’t imagine having to run around on the day of my wedding to organise all the small and big amazing things our coordinator took care of. It meant we were all as relaxed as we could possibly be, knowing everything was in their expert care.

• Any advice specifically for brides planning a marquee wedding?
Know your venue layout. There are small things like services (e.g., kitchen areas and toilets) that you will likely want to hide, and knowing the orientation and layout of your venue to ensure the marquee landscape looks beautiful is key! Utilize elements already on-site. We had an amazing Banana Palm that we featured near our dancefloor – it was stunning! Also, consider the weather and potentially increase the marquee size, as it’s crucial to have a backup plan for rain!

• And lastly, what moment from your wedding day stands out as your absolute favourite?
Seeing all the people we love together, witnessing everyone interacting with each other among all the different families, and just enjoying how happy everyone was to be celebrating love! It’s such a special day and something we will never forget.

We've heard you loud, and clear ~ couples are embracing the round table layout over long rectangles for the upcoming season.

For those looking for variety, a mix of rectangles and rounds is also a fab alternative to long rows of rectangular tables.
