… I love good wine & coffee & of course chocolate! I love to work with couples who want to enjoy their wedding day & to reflect who you are, be relaxing, interactive & fun ….. if this is you we’re a perfect match :) Don’t get me wrong your ceremony will still be emotional, loving & intimate – you just get to have a laugh & enjoy yourselves at the same time. Planning a wedding can get stressful but lets work together to make your day absolutely fun & fabulous. I have a strict “No Stressing” rule ….. if you’re getting stressed ring me & let’s have a chat ….. having been a celebrant for 15 years chances are I’ve heard most stuff! I ask all my couples ; Do you want your ceremony to be more fun or emotional? Most of the time the Groom say FUN & the Bride says EMOTIONAL! So the vast majority of my ceremonies are a beautiful balance between the two. That’s what makes my ceremonies different & very popular, they are modern & interactive & we all get to have a laugh & cry while you get married. You’ll have a great time & so will your quests. If you’re not boring people why have a boring ceremony – finally you have a choice YAY

I’m big on getting to know my couple’s & not being a stranger on your day therefore I do ask some nosey questions to get information about the two of you (sometimes stalking may be involved hehe) that can be used in your ceremony so you’re wedding is actually about you – not something that’s been taken from the internet! It’s important for me that when you both stand in front of your family & friends that you feel comfortable & love your ceremony & not think “o dear”!!!!! Thats why it’s so important that you pick the right celebrant …. if you don’t you’ll likely to get a ceremony that suits the celebrant – not you! I have a high quality sound system available to ensure your family & friends feel part of your special day at no extra charge. I am available to officiate your wedding in the Bay of Plenty, Tauranga, Waikato, Hamilton & Rotorua…. I will & do travel outside these areas so please do ask. Well... who would've thought we'd end up turning a rehearsal into the real deal thanks to a cyclone?! 😂🌪️ That's definitely one for the wedding storybook!

The best part is, when plans change, it's honestly never a problem. Weddings are all about the couple and if we need to pivot, shuffle, or completely rewrite the game plan, we simply make it happen! 💪❤️

On Friday April 10th 2026 Debbie facilitated one very special ceremony. Thanks to circumstance out of anybody's control (aka Cyclone Vaianu), we had to make some rather last minute changes, including bringing our ceremony forward by 2 days - utilising our rehearsal slot to do so. Throughout the entire planning process, we found Debbie to be incredibly kind, responsive and supportive. And a person you feel you've known for a lifetime, which is pretty cool. Who would have guessed that a storm was rolling in… but honestly, it didn’t stand a chance against Sean & Caitlyn’s big day!

From the moment the celebrations kicked off on Saturday, it was clear—this day was always going to shine. Rain or not, nothing was going to dampen the energy, the love, or the absolute magic in the air.

And wow, did they deliver! Every detail was on point, every moment filled with laughter, and Sean & Caitlyn themselves? Completely on point. Calm, radiant, and so clearly wrapped up in each other, they brought a vibe that was equal parts relaxed, joyful, and full of excitement for everything ahead.

If anything, that little storm just added to the story—a reminder that no matter what comes their way, these two will take it on together, smiling, laughing, and making it unforgettable.

Because when the love is this strong… nothing else really matters. 💫

Of course, no great wedding story is complete without a little unexpected plot twist… enter the “Great Ring Mystery of the Day”! 🕵️‍♂️💫 What could have been a moment of panic quickly turned into pure comedy gold — and honestly, those are the moments that make a wedding truly unforgettable. Shona & Nigel handled it like absolute legends!
