Riverside Retreat hosts some pretty beautiful spaces for photography for your outdoor wedding, we also have a large clear marquee which keeps beautifully warm inside for an undercover option surrounded by orchard trees, green fields and a view in the distance of Tauranga Harbour. If you’d like to byo caterer, celebrant, cake maker, photographer that’s just fine or we have our favs to recommend to you!

Today was a beautiful event at Riverside Retreat Thompson’s Track, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment from setting up to your arrival, being with Jacinda, meditating by the river, our banquet high tea right through to the artworks left behind and the dip in the river at the very end! I’m now feet up by the fireplace, wine in hand and reminiscing having you all here today, thank you all for attending and a big thank you to Jacinda from Joy Club, you’re a special soul.
Those wood pigeons watching us on top of the tree must have a had the most amazing view of us all enjoying the space alongside all the nature friends.☀️We hope you all enjoyed the event and finally, thanks to my husband Alan for always helping me by hosting to create in what we feel already will be a fun year in hospitality.

Good morning, we have 35 attendees tomorrow coming to Thompsons Track at Riverside Retreat, we look forward to hosting you here.
Please check that you know where to go….our address is 202C, we hope people travel together that got tickets so there are less cars coming down for the car park. When you do meander down between the tall oak trees you’ll immediately feel immersed in nature and hear the bird song and the river flow.
We do have reception at the lodge, please remember this is an off grid experience so there won’t be any reception for app usage by the banquet table or the river side, this is exactly how we like it, peaceful, however Cloe and Jacinda will in the distance play tunes on blue tooth speaker.
Please park in the carpark at the end of the drive on the side so cars can slot in beside yours and on the grass embankment by the marquee then walk up to the lodge for a welcome in.
Many thanks to you all, we’re excited to show you around and feel the magic of this property.

Evening folks, thank you to the 32 guests who’ve purchased tix to the our high tea this Saturday, we’re excited to be hosting you!🌸we have 3 days of ticket sales left if any more would like to join us. Please note we’re at 202C Thompson’s Track at the very end of the drive, it does show as old warm earth cottages on Google maps, we will put our air bnb up next week and then Google should pick us up as renewed Riverside Retreat.
I’ve sent an email to ticket holders this morning, as many of you are bringing friends, please if you could let them know what’s in the email so they can bring what to use and enjoy the fun!

I’ve been asked by a few this week is this where the first episode of the bachelor was filmed? Yes you’re right! the river bank is where the first couple on the bachelor dined. It may interest you to know too that the lodge is where some of Masterchef NZ was filmed!

This isn’t an event fundraiser it is a fun raiser event, it’s simply a pink high tea, not ribbon, just the colour🌸
I’m sorry if there has been confusion.

Part of what having had breast cancer can do in experience is bring awareness to others what to look out for. Cloe’s Creationz has put on a few events now where we have raised funds for the helpers, I’ve done my share of talking, raising money and helping, talking about anxiety and ‘the body knows’ and not just what to look out for physically but what may have got you to that point of sickness in the first place.
This event we are creating a space for you, the devine you. This event we can help ourselves, relieve stresses, listen to your heart, signals we’re doing too much, we’re touching on the core of who you are and surrounding you with joy in nature and amongst friends! I’d like you to experience being on the grounds and breathing into just listening and relaxing.
After all you are nature and nature is you.
This event isn’t about raising funds or a need for you to do something for others, it’s souley, solely, beautifully about your heart and feeding it the joy you deserve.
Yes YOU🌸
Come on and make the time for what’s important.
We have themed it Pink, not pink ribbon (which is nation wide breast cancer fundraising), not for local businesses like TBCST, we are looking deep into creating a space for relaxing, soothing and just being, that’s right just Pink.
Listening to you.
Your ticket is the only purchase you will be making towards the day and as part of day, just enjoy it.
If you’d wish to make a donation to TBCST on Fraser St, please do so and directly to them, they deserve all the help from locals they can get and they receive no government funding like Pink Ribbon do.

A little snippet of the beauty of togetherness, we danced, dressed up, thanks to my friend from Art 2 Skin even had flowers painted on us and ate the most devine morsels of cake! This is why we love what we do, decorating events brings connection and art, whimsical wonder to communities we live in. The next fun high tea we have is organised is more of an intimate garden occasion by the river where you get to breathe in the elements and surround yourself in nature, immerse your soul in what you are a part of and bring attention to yourself, your calm, your inner talk, your joy where we’ll learn from Jacinda Crothers and again eat some yummy morsels🌸☀️.
