Final day of Fieldays 2024. Literally every type of weather this week. Every year I think I won’t be back and every year I find myself here with a new client haha. It’s been awesome to work with and meet some amazing boating farmers but as much as I love a good Motel, I’ll be thrilled to get home tonight ❤️

An exciting new project has been keeping me busy over the past few months and it is a groundbreaking and unique collaboration with many of NZ’s event and sponsorship’s crème de la crème. Names that the industry know well nationally and internationally.

This will be a community and learning space that will elevate us all together with a collective with hundreds of years of experience at the top of our country’s event game.

Working with people I have developed relationships with over decades (men and women despite my quote, it just captured the vibe perfectly 🤣🙏) to help the events, sponsorship and marketing communities of NZ deliver efficient, safe and spectacular experiences is my passion and to bring them all together in one forum will be a dream mission!

Weee'reee back!

After 12 months working with the awesome team at Classic Group, I am now back in the world of Sursum. It feels great to be able to enjoy self-employment again and work with a diverse group of clients to keep the creative juices flowing.

As I develop as a professional (and as a human!) I realise all I do is find cool ways to find and tell stories using the vast plethora of media and channels we now have at our disposal.

In the good old days it was your standard, tv, print, radio and outdoor media and the internet was this new unknown world (yes I am that old!).

Now the range of tools we have to tell stories has diversified so much and become so accessible, that the only real limit is our imagination. Fortunately, creativity is my favourite part of being a communicator.

Our current clients include Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital and the amazing team at The Little Big Markets amongst a few others. But I now have an amazing group of talented contractors keen and eager to tell your brand, product or personal story.

We support you with what, wow, where, when and how you tell it. Brief me today and we will get the right people to create your next media!

After a challenging couple of years in the events and luxury tourism sector, I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Creative Copywriter at the impressive powerhouse that is Classic Group!

Sursum Group will continue to deliver a small number of core events with our buddies at SportsInc but Masked Voices has now run it’s course and will cease operation.

I’m thrilled to embrace the move back to my core skill set in strategic communications working with a dynamic and growing NZ business but would like to thank the large group of incredible clients that have kept us so busy over the last 6 years!
