🔥 RIGHTO… WE NEED YOUR HELP WITH THE BIG SMOKE BBQ DELI 🔥

Mike & Shane have been having a few Panheads and Lion Reds and talking about the menu… so we thought we’d let you lot make it worse. 😂

We’re putting together the menu for The Big Smoke BBQ Deli at 2 Newton St, Mount Maunganui, and we want to know:

👉 What do YOU actually want to eat?

We’ve already got a few things that are pretty much non-negotiable:

🥪 Big Smoke BBQ Reuben – our smoked pastrami piled high
🇨🇺 The Cuban – pork, ham, pickles, mustard, cheese… pressed and glorious
🔥 Smoked Brisket Sandwich – proper low & slow brisket
🐷 Rotisserie Pork Sandwich – juicy pork, crispy bits and all the good stuff

Plus our Big Smoke BBQ pies, salads, smoked meats, coffee and cabinet goodies.

But what else?

Breakfast sandwiches?
Loaded BBQ rolls?
Sausage sandwiches?
BBQ breakfast burritos?
Mac & cheese?
Salad + smoked meat bowls?
Something completely different?

And more importantly…

Incase you’re wondering where your meal starts from, here it is 12 months earlier. Selecting the best hardwoods and getting them split to the lengths we want and dried ready to burn for your function. There’s a lot of hours involved in barbecue from the splitting of the wood to the prep and the cook time on the day and clean up all for it to be eaten in minutes..

The Big Smoke BBQ is growing, and we're on the lookout for a couple of great people to join the crew.

☕ Barista / Kitchen Hand
We're after someone who loves making great coffee, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. You'll be helping with coffee, food prep, catering and customer service and becoming part of our awesome team as we get ready to open the Big Smoke Deli.

🍻 Duty Manager / LCQ & Manager's Certificate Holder
We've also got a couple of exciting events coming up and are looking for someone who holds a current Manager's Certificate to help oversee our licensed events. This could suit someone looking for casual event work with the potential for more opportunities in the future.

A lot of time and love goes into our smoked meats..this brisket after 8 hours in our smoker, smoked with pohutukawa , will be going into our Big Smoke BBQ Smoked Brisket Mac N Cheese Pies..
