The second last wedding for the 2020 season used 3 tipi tents it was very cozy.
The bar is in the front, they piped hot air in from the back. Heaps of room for the dance floor and 70 people.
The tent people needed a day to put them up and half a day to bring them down. So this works with our 2 day package.

Last week this arch was put up for a couple. We think this is one of the nicest flower displays we have seen for a while...

We are coming into winter. So I think I need to remind people that Trelawn is an outdoor , casual wedding venue. The views are spectacular. You setup on the front of the lawn over looking the river and Coronet Peak in the back ground.
In winter the ground can be anything from very soft and boggy to rock hard with 3 -4 inches of snow on top of that. The trees surrounding the lawn are high and in winter these trees stop any sunlight from getting onto the lawn. Where the ceremony usually takes place is in the shade, and will be cold for the bride.
Those that have chosen a winter wedding, book the Cherry tree house to get prepared in and to warm up in. They generally use the area under the Cherry tree or the patio in front of the buildings to stand and do the ceremony, as this is in the sun. A winters day can be very nice.
We do not have a wet day alternative, especially is there are more than 1/2 dozen people. We do not want people with muddy shoes tramping mud into our carpets, thank you.
The winter views can be amazing , saying all that, here are a couple of photos, the road photo was taken in 1995. The deepest snow here at Trelawn during the 50 years we have been here.

The temperatures are considerably cooler than normal, one should give this so consideration. Trelawn is an out door venue, We do not have an inside alternative if the weather is bad. Steve and Jasper an provide marquees of all sizes if needed.

A very good friend told us back in 2008 that people get married during a recession. He was quite right. Over the following 3 years a few locals tied the knot.
This period could be very much the same?
So we are enabling the decision for people with discounted package prices.

THE VENUE DAY HIRE TO 6PM
from $700 incl. GST
Provides the following for up to 50 – 70 people; $1000 incl. GST for more than 70 people

Tables chairs and black table cloths for up to 70 people
30 white resin chairs for the ceremony. White table and chairs for signing certificate.
5 – 3m x 3m gazebos for shade.
Use of the toilet for up to 20 people.
Help in setting up tables, chairs, the bar as directed by you.
Help with organizing the parking of cars, and greeting guests as they arrive.
Provision of power and water.
Clearing up to the extent of packing away Trelawn’s equipment tables and chairs etc. Excluding bottle disposal, and rubbish.
BYO drinks no corkage charge. We have large drinks bins for your bags of ice.

A non refundable deposit of $500 is required to confirm this wedding package.

THE VENUE DAY HIRE UNTIL 11PM
Provides the following for up to 70 people; $1900 incl. GST – $2300 for more than 70 pax

Tables chairs and black table cloths for up to 70 people
30 white resin chairs for the ceremony. White table and chairs for signing certificate.
5 – 3m x 3m gazebos for shade.
Use of the toilets for up to 35 people.
Help in setting up tables chairs bar etc as directed by you.
Help with organizing the parking of cars, and greeting guests as they arrive.
Help with setting up the bar with drinks etc on arrival. – Services of bar staff an extra charge.
Provision of power and water.
Clearing up to the extent of packing away Trelawns equipment tables and chairs etc. Excluding bottle disposal, and rubbish.
