The best weddings are built with intention - not just for the picture-perfect moment, but with details that weave in your story. 💍✨ Hayleigh & Kjel definitely nailed that brief. With the mountains of Wānaka (and Rippon’s epic view of Ruby Island) as their backdrop, they celebrated their love surrounded by their closest friends and family. Every detail mattered, because every element held meaning. Afterwards, the party carried on with teepees under the stars and a spa pool to soak it all in - perfection! 🌙✨

In two weeks it’s back to the mountains, and back to the “I do’s” for me!

I’m not going to lie, I’m gutted my two-month adventure with the family is over, but there’s no better way to return than by helping incredible couples tie the knot in beautiful Queenstown.

Thanks in advance to all of the lovely people who I know are going to soften the blow of those post holiday blues!

I often think to myself that being a celebrant on an adventure elopement is like being the ultimate third wheel - it’s great!!

Yeah yeah yeah it’s absolutely all about you guys, and for sure I’m there to make sure that your ceremony is a perfect reflection of that. BUT, if you wanted to take a ‘this would be our album cover’ photo, just saying, I’m down for it…

Sarah & Alex were an absolute delight to marry, and I had just as much fun tagging along on their adventure afterwards too - especially when we tried to ‘act cool’ on this here mountain top.

What can I say… Its a tough job!
