“Just the legals” still means being part of one of life’s biggest moments, and that’s never small!

Even if I’m only there to do the bare minimum, I’ll bring the same care, warmth, and relaxed energy as I would for a full ceremony. The moment you make things ‘official’ always deserves to feel special, personal, and full of heart. ✨

Marv & Dan had a good friend of theirs handle the love story and asked me if I’d step in to cover the essentials - it was beautiful.

Not every Queenstown wedding is at the top of a mountain or at a purpose built venue, and that’s the beauty of Queenstown - all you need is a place outdoors and you’ll get mountain views that can’t be beat 🏔️

Emily & Mike found a beautiful Airbnb in Jacks Point, and got married in the backyard. As you can see the views were gorgeous, and there were no more than 100 metres between getting ready and getting hitched!

Everything about Ash & Jesse’s day was just so THEM!

With the help of the lovely wāhine at they created a day that was truly special and encapsulated everything they wanted: an intimate ceremony with their families, a mountaintop moment to themselves, and then some fun about town with drinks and Fat Badgers pizza to round it all off - perfection!! 🍕

It’s days like theirs that remind me just how much personality you can cram into one day, and just how much every couple deserves a wedding day that’s a celebration of all that they love from start to finish 🖤

The best weddings are built with intention - not just for the picture-perfect moment, but with details that weave in your story. 💍✨ Hayleigh & Kjel definitely nailed that brief. With the mountains of Wānaka (and Rippon’s epic view of Ruby Island) as their backdrop, they celebrated their love surrounded by their closest friends and family. Every detail mattered, because every element held meaning. Afterwards, the party carried on with teepees under the stars and a spa pool to soak it all in - perfection! 🌙✨

In two weeks it’s back to the mountains, and back to the “I do’s” for me!

I’m not going to lie, I’m gutted my two-month adventure with the family is over, but there’s no better way to return than by helping incredible couples tie the knot in beautiful Queenstown.
