Tools of the trade.

My little black book, (sometimes it’s a brown suede- depending on the outfit and backdrop)

I also call it my “arts and crafts” book because a few days before the wedding I print out the personalised ceremony I’ve written for the couple and then sit down and either glue or cello tape it into my trusty book……….

I know, I know it sounds a tad old school…..but it’s become my little ritual and I find that there is something deeply grounding and connecting with not only the craft of weaving each couples special and unique love story into a ceremony but also the art of delivering it in a way that honours the vibe and tone they wish to share on their special day.

It’s the little things 😌

We had already used up our weather cover day… and Winter was still showing her true colours on the back up day…..but at 12noon the clouds lifted and it was on!

Here are the newly married couple soaking in all the icy spray and waving off the second of three heli’s post standing in pot holes of snow out in the wild beyond the storm.

This was an adventure and a half!

Congratulations legends! It was soooo impressive watching you embraced every glacial blast of your epic day .
