Sun and surf.

We are back on Ozzy turf for the school holidays; it’s made the time zone maths around my FaceTimes with my Ozzy couples a breeze and been a great way to bank a few sun rays and waves before winter proper kicks in at home.

I love the energy and feeling of being surrounded by mountains in Queenstown but there is something truly magical about the ocean and the salty joy it feeds your heart and soul.

As a registered NZ celebrant I am not able to officiate weddings in Ozzy, but it doesn’t stop the talented photographers I work with bringing their camera bags on board and capturing the coastal vibes.

I know .wild.beyond would not need to be asked twice ☀️

All hail the veil!

This summer season there have been soo many beautiful brides adorned in stunning & romantic veils.

There’s been a couple of “oh sh”t” moments just before they walk in when we realise we didn’t discuss the lifting off the face responsibilities at the rehearsal but these are followed quickly by calm because we know dad will step in when needed!

Here’s Harriett absolutely owning it with her new husband Riley, with a nod to the date of their togetherness embroidered on the tip of her veil. 👰

Bobs Cove bliss!

I love it when I chat to couples about their ceremony and they say “oh this is our first trip to Queenstown” ….. ….what!!!!!! My face lights up, joy sparkles for my eyes and the grin I share with them is wider than the screen we are chatting through…..

“Oh my GOODNESS you are in for a treat! Queenstown is going to blow your mind”.

Bridesmaids are the bunch you can always count on to bring the joy, support, laughter and high energy vibe on your special day.

There is something truely magical about the time you spend with your bride tribe getting ready, walking in, standing up front, posing for the photos and then of course celebrating because these wonderful ladies represent decades of sisterhood, friendship, love and good times.

Hurrah and here’s to many more good times with your gals.

Views at the top of the mountain are always better when shared…

….and it sure helps when you find someone who shares a similar optimism about activity duration, mountain height, difficulty and weather conditions.

1am departures, the promise of absolutely no breaks, running by 3am up and over mighty mountains all with goal of knocking off 5 passes in record time is not many couples idea of a romantic way to share time together.

However when you meet your match in the mountains it’s naturally meant to be and makes the adventure so much more rewarding and enjoyable.

Adam & Jenny here’s to many more mountain passes and summits with lots of Easter eggs to fuel you along the way 🤍

It was a real privilege and pleasure to help Emily and Blake create a ceremony that truly reflected their love and what the adventure of life and marriage together means to them.
