A bit about the journey we're on.
Our Wedding Business in Queenstown New Zealand began in 2016, mainly photographing Japanese couples which is still a part of our business with although we are now fortunate to work with people from all cultures.
Before all this, we were photographing Weddings in Auckland from 2015 and Wellington from 2012.
Over in Japan with our new branch .jp it's the opposite, photographing every one except couples from Japan 😂 not by choice, it's just how it is at the moment.
New Zealand hands down has better scenery, helicopter accessibility/availability and coffee. There's no argument there.
Japan offers a different kind of adventure. Extreme snow, getting lost at the train station, getting saved by 7/11 and the egg sandwich, 20,000 steps a day and unexpectedly finding a decent flat white, bullet trains that blasts you across the country from Tokyo to Kyoto in 2 hours, suddenly finding yourself at a traditional garden or a cave with no tourists around.. for a Christian wedding ceremony.
Then the big sake barrel suddenly shows up, you have a sip and you're suddenly bowing to people.
What just happened?
Stories for life about how you got married, that's what's up.
Sensory overload like unknowingly biting into wasabi.
Nomad Weddings Queenstown NZ for the once-in-a-lifetime scenery, Nomad Japan for the "wasabi".
Both if you're an adventure addict.
Doing weddings in Queenstown or Japan, is the dream for many wedding photographers around the world.
We are very, very grateful to have the opportunity to do both, to have so many unique couples to meet, and have visual stories to share.

If you’re going to the glaciers in summer, sunglasses are recommended.. you may even get sunburned up your nostrils if you stay there too long.

Jess and Alex definitely know how to celebrate big!
Possibly the biggest we’ve photographed, because most weddings here have no guests or only up to 60. can fit a whole lot more 😉
We had to get all hands on deck to cover this big day, shooting 7460 raw photos and 570gb of raw video data between 2 photographers and 2 videographers from our team.
After the ceremony, picked us up straight from the venue to take us to for more photos.
Big feed at to keep the party going for the reception.
