Today of the first day of winter and I’m a winter baby through and through, so here are some reasons why I love a winter wedding ❄️

❄️ You get to embrace the cold and dress up cosy and warm. Think: delicious wool coats and furs, scarves and gloves … and a couple of cheeky hand warmers in your pockets

❄️ Sitting by a warm fire or in a hot tub after your wedding? Bliss.

❄️ Mulled wine and hot chocolates? Yes, please!

❄️ Epic views and a crisp, different kind of air around you

❄️ Getting to celebrate your wedding anniversary every year in the middle of the year ~ if you wanna be warm, just head to the northern hemisphere!

❄️ Hugging and embracing throughout your ceremony, keeping each other warm ~ any excuse for a cuddle, amiright?

My camera roll is perpetually, dangerously full and I know I *should* delete some videos but HOW would I even begin to choose which ones should go?

I make a point of taking a photo and a short b-roll clip like these at every wedding, every ceremony and every location because I just love it all so much!

Some weddings and some couples just stick with me for a lifetime and this is one of those weddings that still makes me smile six years later.

It was just before Covid and these two eloped with their two kids, loads of colour and so much laughter and fun!

And when their son started to fuss mid-ceremony, they sat down and fed him while reading their vows to each other.

Absolute perfection and the epitome of “do your wedding the way YOU want to!”

I literally can’t get them out of my head … and I’m not mad about it 💕

Here’s the thing, right? I don’t love love love flying, and it took a long time to get used to them. So I get it, and if you’re a bit uncertain or air sick or just a bit nervy, just let us know 🤍

It’s fun and it’s an adventure for sure, full of potholes and moments that’ll take your breath away (it’s a bit like marriage, right? See what I did there …) but, like your marriage, I’ll be there to hold your hand, giving you loads of enthusiastic thumbs ups and reassuring you that all will be ok.

Even if sometimes I might have my eyes closed 🫣

Shoutout to the real heroes, the pilots from who get the job done 🚁
