Stunning memories of a stunning day šŸ’ŽšŸ¤

You and your bestie go on an epic adventure during your wedding day. A moment for yourselves, to appreciate spectacular views hard to reach without a helicopter.

You look a million bucks, and every shot looks like it could go in a frame. Credit to Melissa Clark | Queenstown Wedding Photographer for capturing so many precious moments.

Simon + Kirsty, married barefoot lakeside, with their baby girl in their arms.

Kirsty walked through the forest to Simon, and the look on their faces said everything, a warm ray of sunshine kind of love.

In that moment, Simon had his whole world right there, his girls, his family, his everything.

A sea shell & a pounamu ring, and promises shared in the most natural, grounded way.

Simple, wholesome, and deeply meaningful, a perfect celebration for a truly beautiful, salt of the earth family.

I shot these pics too after thier ceremony šŸ¤

Timeless in black and white.

Congratulations to Simon + Kirsty šŸ–¤šŸ¤

Alison + Paris,

Married with a handful of their closest friends and their baby son.

A magical day, sun shining, surrounded by a basin of mountains, the lake was calm and everyone’s hearts were over flowing with love.

Jono + Emily,

An elopement with a small bunch of special friends over to Bowen Island for the day.

These two have a big wedding coming up in a couple of months in England, so this was a small wedding warm up.

It was an unbelievably beautiful sunny day, we had a private boat on to enjoy on across the ocean taking us to & from the island.

We popped V***e Cliquot after the ceremony, a spot we picked on Sandy beach. Not a breath of wind too šŸ‘Œ

Hand written vows, a delicious lunch at Doc Morgan’s restaurant after, a newly wed jump in the ocean on the way home.

It was a perfect day, full of ease, simple yet truly beautiful wedding day.

Jono & Emily, now husband & wife, you are a wonderful people.

May you continue to have a relationship full of daily sunshine šŸŒž

Kataraina + Tariu,

Married in front of 160 guests. Family means everything to these two, their friends are their family.

Māori & Cook Island cultures united in the union of marriage šŸ¤

This wedding took place at Awhitu House, where the bride, Kati, and my 3rd great grandfather, Chief Hōri Kerei Taiaroa lived. He was one of the first Māori politicians in New Zealand. It felt very special to be making significant memories on land that our relatives spent significant times on too, well over 100 years before us.

Beautiful day šŸ¤Ž

Throwback to Paul + Kara’s wedding day!

Paul + Kara flew halfway across the world from the USA, then took another flight in a helicopter to get married in front Earnslaw Burn Glacier.

Paul + Kara were cracking each other up the whole day. They were completely on a vibe and riding the high of this epic adventure.

My favourite story from their ceremony was from their first date, when Paul texted Kara while she was in the bathroom saying, ā€œHow is your first date going?ā€.

He made Kara smile from ear to ear, and vice versa. You know that’s how someone knows they’ve found their person.

Check out this flight. Two landings. Just gorgeous. What a perfect day, and I am so happy for these two. It’s so wonderful to be a part of people’s peak life moments! ✨

Thanks for taking me on this stunning & breath taking adventure.

Feeling on top of the world!! šŸ¤
Congratulations Y + M. šŸ„‚

This adventurous duo wanted to fly over the lake and have their ceremony standing on the edge of a mountain!

We had a short ceremony before these two explored all the incredible Rocky Mountains, capturing photos from every angle.

I loved seeing their faces light up — firstly when looking at each other, and secondly when they discovered what surrounded us. Beautiful views of Queenstown, with mountain ranges beyond what we could even see. It’s still feels special to me, every single time.

Congratulations Ben + Erika,

The wedding was held in their hometown Creston, at Baillie-Grohman Estate Winery. It felt like we teleported to an Italian haven.

A slightly smokey and moody sky set a vibey scene for these two to share their vows.

This day was before I got my legal license to be able to marry couples in BC, and so it was actually Jude, Jude - Sea to Sky Officiant who took care of the legalities with a private elopement in Squamish before the ā€œbigā€ wedding day.

I held the ceremony, but spoken was a ceremony script that Jude had written. It was beautiful, funny and captured their relationship perfectly. Grateful to have been able to work with Jude and conduct a wedding on Canadian soil.

Surrounded by lush vineyards, laughed and cried at speeches, whilst enjoying rich pasta and red wine.

We cried again when the couple found out the gender of their baby that was inside Erika’s belly. Shout out to baby girl Florence šŸ’–

Then we danced until the wee hours…

What an epic celebration for a wonderful couple. šŸ¤āœØ

Congratulations to my beautiful friends, Kati and Tariu, on their marriage in October 2024.

With 160 guests in attendance—including beloved family from New Zealand, Australia, and the Cook Islands—it was a true celebration of multicultural Cook Island Māori whānau coming together as one.

Kati surprised her new husband with a Cook Island dance. It was captivating.

Together, Kati and Tariu, now a blended family with 10 children, are each other’s rocks. Their partnership is built on unconditional love and unwavering support through all of life’s challenges.

I deeply admire these two.

Kati has been one of my best friends since I was thirteen, and we share a special bond as NZ Māori relatives—descendants of the same great-grandfather who once lived on the very land where she was married, and where I had the honour of legalising their union.

It was a privilege to help make more family history on such meaningful land near Christchurch.

Wishing you a lifetime of joy, fulfilment, health and love.
