✨Choose a quiet weekday – Queenstown is a busy tourist town, especially from spring through autumn, and weekends can get crowded at some spots. A weekday gives you a much better chance of having the place to yourselves – just the two of you and that big, exciting moment.

✨ Golden hour = best light – there’s something so romantic about sitting together as the sun lowers in the sky. Asking the question while everything is glowing in soft, golden light feels magical and it makes for the dreamiest photos!

✨ Consider having a photographer quietly capture the moment – the best part about a proposal is being completely caught up in it. Having someone hidden away means you’ll get to see all those little moments you might have missed – the surprise, the smiles, the happy tears.
