Little Big Events Co. is proud to have delivered QRW 2025 at the stunning Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre. With over 900 attendees joining us, it was an incredible few days of learning, connecting and celebrating together.

A huge shout-out to the amazing Te Pae team - from the world-class facilities to the outstanding staff and delicious catering, you helped make this conference a true success. 👏

Also a big thank you to Ella Gutschlag, who is an integral part of making this event happen, and Shipleys, who did a superb job on the AV.

We love turning dreams into reality. Our client likes to offer wow experiences, sometimes in less well-known destinations. The Harbin Ice and Snow World in China was the perfect place. Giant illuminated ice and snow sculptures over 750,000sqm creating a dreamlike theme park with crazy long toboggan rides for fun. Built over two weeks by 2000 workers, it really is mind-blowing. Flying in and out of Beijing, we threw in a visit to the Forbidden City and The Great Wall of China as a cherry on the top!

Our latest incentive took us to the heart of Australia - Uluru. This majestic rock was the centrepiece of the trip. We listened to the tjukurpa stories passed down by the Anangu people, we experienced the spiritual pull as we walked by it, we helied it, we rode camels as the sun rose behind it, and we dined under the stars to the sound of the didgeridoo, as the sun set behind it.

Yahoo! Not only was the Calgary Stampede the greatest outdoor show in the world to watch, with the most amazing drone and fireworks show at the end, but the city itself was one of the most friendliest, welcoming and diverse I've visited. New Orleans - it is day one, and this city has already blown me away with its vibrant culture, non-stop music, and lip-smackingly good food. It has an energy that is contagious. So I did that thing where you focus so much on trying to ensure your event is perfect, that you forget to take any photos! So here is one of the blue super moon above The Remarkables instead. This was the evening they went to Walter Peak, and it was stunning.
Queenstown Research Week is my largest conference of the year, held across one week. This year, we had 750 delegates attending 10 different meeting streams across 2 hotels, and multiple conference dinners.
It is huge, and I really couldn't do it without all the support and hard work from everyone who helped. So I just wanted to say "thank you" to the teams at Rydges Lakeland Resort Queenstown, Crowne Plaza Queenstown, Shipleys, Exhibition Hire Services NZ, RealNZ, La Social - Queenstown Band, Queenstown DJ, El Camino Cantina Queenstown, Future Hospitality Group, BLUE KANU, The London Flatbread Pizza Co & Bar, My Thai Lounge, Making Moves Co., the rego dream team Abi, Claudia, Belinda, Bethany, Harriet and Rachel. And my biggest thanks to Ella Gutschlag, I really couldn't have done this without you. Ella has been by my side throughout the lead up and is incredible.
