Hey everyone!

I’ve gained a few new followers over the past couple of months so I thought it was about time to reintroduce myself & share the story on how Petal & Posy Florals blossomed to life.

So hey! I’m Indy, the face behind Petal & Posy Florals.

I have always had a love for flowers from a young age, I remember watching my Mum in her little flower garden each summer and I think that’s where I got the love for it! Now that she has passed away, growing flowers each spring/summer is a way I keep her memory alive.

I decided to open Petal & Posy Florals after arranging some bouquets for friends & family, but I never could’ve imagined that it would blossom into a full time job 2 years later.

I absolutely love having the space to grow seasonal flowers that make up some of our bouquets & arrangements, whatever I don’t grow I source from other local growers.

Now that I have just become a mum, I am even more thankful that I have been able to make a career for myself that allows me to be more present & hands on in my daughter’s first years of life, and I have all of you to thank for that!

Our little girl has finally arrived 🎀

Evie arrived on the 28th June at 8:42am weighing 3.4kg.

She has been an absolute dream so far!

I’m definitely missing all of you & still planning to be back mid-late August but I’m loving my new role of being a Mumma.

See you all again soon!

This weekend is your last chance to get your hands on some of our gorgeous blooms for awhile!

The roadside flower stand is going to be closing at the end of the week until mid August while I go on maternity leave.

The flower stand will be open this afternoon until 5:30pm and Saturday/Sunday from 9:30am-4:30pm or until sold out. They will be out at a discounted price as a bit of a thank you for all the support I’ve received so far this year. You can find us at 12 Inglis street Motueka

I am going to miss making bouquets every week for you all but it’s now time for me to start slowing down before our little girl arrives.

When the flower stand reopens in August, it will have a fresh new look! I will still be posting updates in the meantime so chuck us a follow if you would like to stay updated on the work we are doing to the flower stand.

Happy Friday everyone!

I thought I would do a little update on all things flowers 🌸

Our homegrown dahlias are now officially done for the season 😢. The next lot of the homegrown flowers will start blooming early August, you can expect a lot more blooms than this season as well!

The roadside flower stands hours have updated for autumn. They are now Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm & Weekends 9:30am-4pm.
At this stage the flower stand is going to be closing temporarily around the second week on June through to the end of July while I go on maternity leave. I have some very exciting upgrades that are going to be done to the stand to get it all ready to reopen.

Mother’s Day is coming up very quickly! With just over a week to go, orders are flowing in. So to ensure you don’t miss out, I would recommend to get your orders in for Mum over the next couple of days. To order you can either head over to our website www.petalandposyflorals.co.nz or DM me and I’ll get you sorted.

If you would like flowers over the weekend, the website is open (order before 11am Saturday for weekend delivery) as well as the flower stand with lots of fresh blooms.
