Matariki is all about new beginnings and celebrating the past. Friday was a beautiful calm Wellington Matariki morning. A small group of us celebrated a gorgeous couples love and relationship with a Civil Union at Fort Balance. Thanks for having me be apart of your day lovely people.

My job as a celebrant is not only to celebrate the living but also help people farewell loved ones.
Everyone deserves their life to be remembered, shared and mourned. I work with family, friends or even the person themselves to write a funeral or memorial that lets the personality of the departed loved one shine through, whilst creating a space to grieve in a way that is right for all.

It was an absolute blast to organise and marry Jasmine and Te Maanga in an elopement ceremony at Wellingtons biggest party Cupa D**a.
