Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the deadlines, the logistics, and the back-to-back events. But every now and then, we like to stop and take a Motive moment.

That quiet five minutes before doors open. The lights are set, the room styled, the AV checks done. You look around and think, yep, we’ve built something special here.

It’s the calm before the chaos, the exhale before the buzz, and the reminder of why we love what we do. There are plenty of laughs backstage during awards nights, and plenty of “did we really just pull that off?” stories once everything has wrapped up. But it’s those pre-show pauses we often miss that tend to be the ones that stick.

August. What a month. 👏

From back-to-back conferences and summits to awards nights, exhibitions and gala dinners - our team has been non-stop this month. With events across Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton and Queenstown, it’s fair to say this has been one of our biggest (and busiest) stretches of the year.

Every project was different, but the goal was the same: create experiences that connect, inspire and leave a lasting impact. And none of it would have been possible without the incredible Motive crew working hard behind the scenes to make it all happen.

From rooftop line dancing to red carpet glamour, the evenings had it all - music, sparkle, celebration, and plenty of moments that brought people together. It was the perfect blend of fun and formality, with details designed to surprise and experiences made to connect.
