** Manukau bar camera now LIVE! **

We are excited to announce that the new Manukau bar camera is now live!

A massive thank you to the team at Outdoor Access for their dedication in getting this ready for the upcoming summer season.

This camera will be a great asset to the boating community who use the Manukau bar, whilst it shouldn't be used solely for deciding whether to head out, it will be a great tool to use with forecasting apps.

This camera will also have many uses, from monitoring bar conditions, training, bar safety awareness, and operational planning.

We still highly recommend that, before heading out,

- check the weather forecast and tides,

- log a bar crossing report with Coastguard on CH18 or *500,

- always wear your lifejacket.

Head over to the link and join up to access all their live cameras at a number of locations throughout New Zealand! https://outdooraccess.co.nz
