Yesterday we had the pleasure of catering for Wade Group Ltd for their Fleet Day Woof Shout.

The team wanted the cook-on-site experience so we took the smoker down first thing in the morning to cook for the day.

Casual walk and fork was the order of the day, so together we decided a burger + a side was the way to go. We offered up the choice of either pulled pork or sliced brisket burgers, both meats having been given the low and slow treatment throughout the day, as well as a side of herb and butter spuds.

We even ran into a few familiar faces among the guests, which was great, not the least of which was the team from Bootleg Brewery who were serving some fine ales throughout the evening.

Thanks for having us cater your event guys. We had a great time!!

A nice little breakfast box drop-off this morning for the good folk at BNI Morrinsville.

'Breakfast is the most important meal of the day' might have just been a made-up marketing slogan, but it can still be the tastiest meal of the day right?!

Brisket cheese croissants, bacon & egg breakfast muffins with our very own smokey maple bacon, gourmet beef sausages and dipping sauces.

We even threw together a couple of carnivore boxes for those who don't get down on the carbohydrate lifestyle.

Pretty good breakfast bites if you ask us! Dropped off hot and ready to eat.

It's been a hot minute since we've made our own bacon, and it was definitely worth the effort!

This smoky maple bacon is the absolute goods! We'll be serving this up as part of a breakfast box we're doing this week and we can't wait!

Last Friday we had the pleasure of cooking a small lunchtime drop-off for the good people at LJ Ho**er Matamata.

Beef brisket, low and slow pork belly, herb and butter spuds and slaw as well as the standard selection of pickles and breads that come with all our buffet menu options.

We were up at 2:30 in the morning getting the meat on for this cook. Why? Because regardless of crowd size or the time of day you want to eat, we want to make sure your barbecue is timed to be at its freshest and peak quality when you wrap your laughing gear around it.

How good do these Streetcorn Jalapeño Poppers look?!

A Mexican inspired cream cheese blend, mixed with grilled sweetcorn, then topped with chopped crispy bacon and more grilled sweetcorn.

A cool little workplace lunchtime drop-off today.

Lamb and whipped feta sliders, double smash burger sliders, barbecue chicken sandwiches, low and slow pork belly sandwiches, and chicken nibbles with dipping sauces.

Even snuck in a few sweet treats!

Not a bad afternoon feed if you ask us!!

Buffalo mayo, slaw with cheddar, pulled barbecue chicken, barbecue sauce and red onions. She's a tasty bite of goodness.

We love barbecue platters, so sometimes we like to whip up a little something for dinner.

A little overboard, maybe. Delicious, definitely!!

Pichana steaks, Jalapeño poppers, smoked cream cheese, chicken nibbles, slaw, cheese burger sliders, sausages and dressings.

Quite the Friday night feast!

Wow! Our first visit to Te Aroha's Country Market did not disappoint!!

We sold out of our pulled pork and smash burgers as well as our brisket toasties. We even had to do a quick emergency run up the road for some extra supplies to use up the last of the barbecue pulled pork we had.

We had a great time and met a bunch of cool new people. I think we'll have to go back again!!

Thanks everyone who came out to support the market, and us. We really appreciate it.

Time to relax and enjoy a well earned cold Sunday afternoon beer!
