And that's the 2026 Premier Deepstack all wrapped up for another year.
To those who travelled to our game, thank you so much for coming and supporting our game. Our whanau came from near and far - our usuals from the Wairarapa, the Manawatu, the Hawkes Bay, Gisborne, Bay of Plenty, Nelson and the West Coast of the South Island and our old and new friends from Auckland.
Thanks also to those that run satellites for our events; it's important that players get the opportunity to get into these bigger buyin games at a cheaper price point.
To our locals, thank you also for supporting this game. It's always lovely to see the familiar across the tables.
Thank you to the staff at the Petone Working Men's Club. It has been a busy weekend and all departments stepped up and took on their challenges in the best possible ways.
Well done to all those players who cashed over the weekend. Congratulations to Auckland's Gary Adamson who won The Welcome Game on Friday night and to The Hawke's Bays Chris Jenkins, who after Final tabling the Main Event, took out The Bounty Game this afternoon.
But our biggest congratulations go to Carolyn Henare who beat out 103 runners to win the 2026 Premier Deepstack. It will be nice to have a women's name on the trophy.
That's it from us here at Poker HQ. We've loved hosting you and can't wait to do it all again at Labour Weekend for the UPW (Ultimate Poker Weekend).
