“What These Walls Remember” opened at City Art Depot on Tuesday evening and I was overjoyed to sneak a pic with artist Stephanie Postles. Her colourful new oil paintings - on canvas and panel - lit up a beautiful space upstairs.

Charlotte Watson’s delicate ceramics need to be seen to be fully appreciated. Her display, “Awash” was exquisite.

I met some interesting people, including many artists, and enjoyed checking out this space that offers conservation framing. I recommend you stop to view these current exhibitions, which end on 18 May.

Ngā mihi, Mid-South Island Women's Refuge & Family Safety Services. Thank you to all the wāhine and Dr. Makary for your stories, courage, honesty, and most importantly, your voice. The need for women to speak up about our health, our concerns, our queries, our pain, and our blessings also, is paramount.

I look forward to reaching out to you all soon.

Thank you for connecting at Waiata In The Woolshed today.

Until next time.

Best wishes.
Belinda
