# # Kia ora e te whānau! 🌳✨
Our annual **Paepae in the Park** festival is one of the highlights of our community calendar—bringing us together for incredible music, food, and culture.
But as the saying goes, *“Mā tini mā mano ka rapa te whai”* — many hands make light work!
To make next year’s event happen, we are looking for passionate, community-minded volunteers to step up and join our organizing committee. Whether you are a seasoned pro or just want to give back to your community, we would love to have your energy on board. Without you it may not happen!
We currently have three vital vacancies we are looking to fill:
* **The Chairperson:** The navigator of our waka. You’ll lead our meetings, help keep us on track, and act as a key point of contact for the committee. Perfect for someone with great people and leadership skills!
* **The Treasurer:** The guardian of the pūtea (funds). You’ll manage our budget, keep track of incoming and outgoing expenses, and ensure our financial reporting is accurate. Ideal for someone comfortable with numbers or basic bookkeeping.
* **The Stall Coordinator:** The ultimate multi-tasker. You’ll be the main point of contact for our food, craft, and information stalls—handling bookings, layouts, and keeping stallholders informed. Great for someone who loves organization and communicating with people.
