Held every year on the 6th February under the world famous Aotea Waka, Pātea Notices of Committee meetings, performances, programs and performance artists, funders and sponsors, photo's and video of the music festival. Paepae in the Park is a music festival to celebrate the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi. This one day music festival is held on Waitangi Day (6 February) in Memorial Park, Patea -

behind the iconic Aotea waka. Musical entertainment includes the Patea Maori Club, national and local bands. Other attractions include a hangi, food and craft stalls - the event is free and is always a popular day out for all the family!

Whānau! I know we’re all feeling the PPB (Post Paepae Blues) nearly three months after another successful Waitangi Day Paepae in the Park.

Here’s your opportunity to feed back into the kaupapa and get involved in an even bigger and better 2027!

We need numbers to attend our Annual General Meeting Thursday 30th April from 6:30pm- venue is Hunter Shaw Building in Pātea.
