2020 saw things change dramatically for musicians in NZ regardless of the size of the act. Fortunately the 'team of 5 million' managed to keep the virus at bay and we were able to enjoy live music again. The lockdown period gave us time to plan and 2020 vision. Before the lockdown we were working hard to make sure that artists and bands were getting paid for their efforts while making venues profi

table but we could have been doing more and that's where 2020 Entertainment comes in. We've decided to step this model up and get more bands playing more gigs to packed venues and earning real money as well as 'exposure'. We aim to work with bands to help promote events to their fans and the local community through social media. We have run many hugely successful events playing to packed pubs across our region with bands, venues and fans all winning. 2020 Entertainment think it's time to take local music seriously.

Dan Boerman, hot off Comedy Central's AITA and after taking the UK by storm with a fitted sheet, is back in New Zealand for a week before christmas and we have convinced him to come to Sunday Cantina.
