What a night! 🧡

We were proud to sponsor the Virtual Assistant Network New Zealand Awards this year, and even prouder to style the room for an incredible group of people who keep businesses across Aotearoa running behind the scenes.

For The Atrium, we wanted to soften the brick-and-steel industrial space with something lush and a little bit magical:
🌿 Floating greenery canopies dripping with wisteria and glowing paper lanterns, washed in colour
🌸 Gold circle arches dressed with orchids and monstera to frame the stage and entrance
🕯️ Black-linen tables with native foliage and candlelit centrepieces
✨ A black-carpet arrival with gold stanchions to set the tone from the first step

We also had the honour of presenting the Top Performing Creative VA award to Stephanie Wium of Simply On Demand. Huge congratulations, Stephanie. Creativity is close to our hearts, so this one felt extra special.

Thank you to the VAANZ team for having Craig and Jodie from the WA team join the evening, and congratulations to every finalist and winner. You made the room shine brighter than any lighting rig could! 💫

For the third year running, Wild Apricot Events had the privilege of helping bring the annual Mercury Nga Tohu Generation Awards to life at the incredible Te Puia - Rotorua, NZ.

Guests arrived via a luxe black carpet framed by giant palms, leading into a truly magical event space. 🌿✨

The styling combined lush potted ferns, gold details, and flickering seed lights, while the stage brought the drama: four awards proudly displayed on black plinths, framed in gold, with oversized foliage creating a striking backdrop.

A beautiful celebration in a spectacular setting! 🖤

Back in the day, a 21st birthday might have been a backyard BBQ, a few too many drinks, and some rather rough photos to remember it all by. But not anymore!

Twenty-one only happens once, and this one happened beautifully.

A spacious room at the Novotel Rotorua, dressed from floor to ceiling in her favourite colour. Draped ceiling. Dance floor. A ch*****ne wall greeting guests on arrival. Her own DJ.

This is what Wild Apricot does. We take a vision and make it real, in a room that feels like it was made for exactly this person, on exactly this night.

Happy 21st to our happy client. 🥂

A night of glitz, glamour and celebration ✨

Guests came together in Auckland for the annual Partners Life Awards 2026, stepping back in time for an unforgettable evening inspired by the golden age of Hollywood.

This year’s theme, Old Hollywood Glam, set the scene from the moment guests arrived. A custom-designed entrance and red carpet created a true awards-night welcome, leading into a glamorous Hollywood-inspired photo wall ready for those picture-perfect moments.

Throughout the event, rich gold, black, and red details brought the theme to life, creating an atmosphere that was elegant, dramatic, and full of old-school Hollywood charm.

From the grand entrance to the final details, every element was designed to make guests feel like stars for the night. 🌟

A spectacular evening celebrating achievements, recognising success, and bringing the Partners Life community together in true Hollywood style.

We’re used to juggling event schedules, but this week, it’s personal! 🏅

AIMS Games is in full swing, and the Wild Apricot team is working around a busy week of supporting our kids from the sidelines in Water Polo, Badminton, Rock Climbing, and Table Tennis.

It takes a little extra coordination, but we love being part of a team that understands the importance of showing up for our whānau.

AIMS Games brings an incredible energy to our region, and it’s pretty special watching these young athletes give it their all. We’re very proud supporters this week. Good luck to everyone competing! 🧡

Rainy winter weather? No problem! Guests brought the festival vibes to Novotel Rotorua for another incredible Novochella recently, raising a fabulous $54K for Cure Kids NZ, Women’s Refuge & Bowel Cancer NZ! ❤️

For the third year running, Wild Apricot Events loved working with the amazing Vanessa Price and her team at Novotel Rotorua Lakeside to bring her Novochella vision to life.

Think bold colour, bright draping, disco balls, oversized palms, retro details, custom photo moments, and festival fun, all topped off with a packed dance floor until the wee hours!

A fabulous night for some amazing causes, with $54K raised- what a result! 🙌
