Another school ball transformed into a whole new world! For Rotorua Lakes High School, the brief was Tokyo Night, and we had plenty of fun bringing it to life.

Guests were welcomed through a bold themed entrance before stepping into a space filled with Japanese-inspired details. A beautiful real bloom tree created the perfect photo backdrop, while tables featured statement centrepieces with Japanese fans, umbrellas and playful Hello Kitty touches.

And we didn’t stop at table level. Ornate umbrellas and glowing lanterns were suspended from the ceiling, helping create an immersive experience from every angle.

A fantastic theme, a memorable night, and another brilliant school ball brought to life. Thank you, Rotorua Lakes High School, for trusting us with your celebration!

Bookkeepcon26 wrapped up with an Awards Dinner that transported guests straight into the Roaring Twenties: a Great Gatsby theme brought to life through fan motifs in black and gold, feather and orchid centrepieces, and a showstopper scalloped backdrop.

A big thank you to HPCE Aotearoa for having us install this event, and Jackie O Photography for the stunning coverage. Napier Conferences & Events for their wonderful team and service, Dish Catering for the beautiful kai, and of course Institute of Certified NZ Bookkeepers for having us along! Mike Puru, you are a fabulous MC and The Blueprint: The Ultimate Covers Experience had the dance floor full all night long, a great night was had by everyone!

New Zealand Home Loans turned 30 this year, and celebrated the milestone in true style with a Bubbles and Pearls themed awards dinner. Guests were welcomed to a stunning champagne wall and elegant draped light towers (shaped like champagne glasses), pearl-draped trees brought sparkle to every table, and a cream and pearl photowall set the scene for the night's memories.

All of this was under vibrant AV lighting thanks to Audio Visual People with an awesome live band keeping the celebration going.

✨ See the Light ✨

Earlier this year, the Rosehill College Ball Committee came to us with a vision for their school ball theme: See the Light, inspired by the magic of Tangled.

The students had the table centrepieces covered, but wanted a little help bringing the rest of the venue together and creating a cohesive atmosphere throughout Ellerslie Event Centre.

We created a themed entrance and photo wall to set the scene from the moment guests arrived, with bunting and florals carrying the look through into the main room.

A special shoutout to Arpit, head of the Rosehill Ball Committee, who was an absolute pleasure to work with: organised, communicative, and on top of every detail from planning through to the day itself.

The Moulin Rouge-themed ball for Western Heights High School was an absolute blast last weekend! The room was transformed with moody drapes and vibrant images, creating a really fun atmosphere. We had the pleasure of designing a stunning entrance, a beautifully draped photo area, and some fantastic images displayed in lightboxes to really fill the space.

Huge thanks to Western Heights High School for trusting us to help create another memorable event this year. We absolutely love the themes you come up with and enjoy working with you to create something unique and exciting!

What an evening!

We were honoured to theme the Medical Meetings Conference Awards Dinner held at Pullman Auckland Hotel. Pullman Auckland

The theme was 1980s Television, and we embraced it fully. This included large light boxes at the entrance displaying the iconic ‘No Signal’ sign to welcome guests into the room.

Inside, we utilised colourful chair covers at the tables, complemented by quirky centrepieces comprising glow sticks, Rubik’s cubes, 80s-style glasses, and vintage VHS tapes.

The DJ set the tone with a frontage of old-school televisions, while Mel Melicious kept guests dancing throughout the evening.

A highlight of the evening was the interactive TV photo booth, where guests could step inside the vintage television to capture fun photographs. Smoke photography were definitely kept busy!

We sincerely thank the Medical Meetings team for their clear communication and assistance with setup. It was a pleasure working with you.

We are delighted that the evening went so well and successfully concluded your conference on a high note.
