Step into a dream… 🌸

Our Secret Garden theme for Rotorua Lakes High School's ball welcomed guests through a whimsical tunnel of trees, fairy lights, and vibrant blooms; an enchanting entrance to an unforgettable night.

Inside, extra-large florals transformed the space into another world, while each table was adorned with moss, butterflies, flickering candles, and delicate blooms for an intimate touch of magic.

A big thank you to for the stunning room wash lighting that brought this garden to life!

A truly magical night under the stars! ✨

John Paul College’s “Starry Winter’s Night” Ball was something special from the very first moment. Guests arrived through a snowy, tree-lined walkway crowned with shimmering stars, setting the perfect winter wonderland tone.

Inside, beautifully crafted centerpieces of snowy branches, stones, pine cones, and our charming Wild Apricot vases created an enchanting atmosphere, while the photo backdrops (a true team effort!) gave everyone the perfect spot to capture unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to the talented student ball committee for their creativity and to for a seamless AV setup; your support helped make the whole evening sparkle!

Step right up! To the Greatest Show at Cordis, Auckland!

For this annual awards dinner, Wild Apricot, in collaboration with The Production Agency, turned the ballroom into a circus spectacular, complete with a full-size carriage, sequins, feathers, and a glowing light-up bar.

Guests arrived to live music, sipped champagne from a custom wall, and dined under dramatic décor while world-class performers stole the show.

What an event! After a packed few days of conferencing, the NZ Home Loans team closed things out in true Bridgerton style, and we had so much fun bringing this to life!

From the charming carriage at the entrance and wisteria archways to mauve table runners, candelabras, a black-and-white dance floor, and vibrant floral centrepieces, every detail radiated Regency elegance.

Topped off with incredible costumes from every guest, it was a night to remember and a true pleasure for the Wild Apricot team to create!

We’re out and about bringing bold, beautiful events to life across the Bay and beyond—school balls, corporate functions, gala dinners, launches, and everything in between. Packed to the roof with props, florals, backdrops, lighting and a whole lot of creative energy, this little van is where the magic begins.

When Western Heights High School reached out to us with a request for a theme based on one of our favorite kids' movies, we couldn’t wait to get started!

They wanted a 'Tangled' themed School Ball, and we immediately thought of lush purple and white flowers, complemented by the charming purple bunting which we carefully painted on the all-important golden sun symbol to really set the scene.

Creating an enchanted forest ambiance for the entranceway was a must, and we knew a magical, whimsical photo area would be the perfect spot to help students capture those special memories on this unforgettable night!

This notable event was hosted at the entrance of Te Puia in Rotorua. The New Zealand Māori Arts & Crafts Institute was launching a new initiative, and Te Puia provided an ideal setting for this occasion. Their intention was to elevate the atmosphere further by creating a more impressive environment on site.

We customized the space by draping the area and using uplighting to subtly enhance the ambiance, ensuring a sophisticated and engaging event.

The launch was highly successful, and the event was well-received.

We would like to thank the team at Te Puia - Rotorua, NZ for their continued collaboration and support, as well as Production Agency for their assistance in providing exceptional lighting systems to help us achieve our goals.

"Kia ora kōrua, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making our event look so amazing last Thursday! It was a transformation and made a lot of people amazed at what the space could look like. Elegant yet understated to complement a stunning venue! This centrepiece was created re-purposing materials for an incentive dinner at Te Puia - Rotorua, NZ this week — where the geothermal landscape, rich culture, and world-class hospitality already set the tone.

We kept the styling minimal, playful, and full of texture — allowing the surroundings to shine while adding a touch of Wild Apricot flair.

A joy to design. Even more of a joy to see it come to life.

Champagne On The Shore – Event Themeing for Purpose

We were honoured to be invited to bring this year’s Champagne On The Shore fundraising event to life with a bespoke theming experience that matched the elegance and impact of the cause it supports. A grand entrance, bright floral arrangements, champagne wall and elegant décor - every detail was crafted to reflect celebration, community, and care.

This beautiful evening was about more than just aesthetics—it was about creating a space where generosity could shine. Each thoughtful styling element was designed to elevate the guest experience and honour the incredible work of helping families stay close during some of the toughest times of their lives.
