Canopy or freestanding? 🤔 What’s the difference?

We get asked this one a lot - and the answer is actually pretty simple…

They’re the same Stretch Tent, just rigged differently! 🙌

🏡 Canopy rig
A canopy is rigged from a solid structure, such as the side of your house, garage or another suitable structure. It’s a great way to extend an existing outdoor space and create extra covered areas without taking up additional lawn space.

🌿 Freestanding rig
A freestanding tent is exactly that - freestanding on the lawn, using poles and anchors to create the structure. And because our tents are so flexible, the sides can be rigged up or down depending on the weather, your setup and the look you’re after.

Same tent. Different setup. Plenty of possibilities.

Not sure which option would work best for your space?
Send us a message and we can point you in the right direction.

A fresh new look for Stretch Tents ✨

After many years, it was time for a little refresh!

We’re excited to introduce the new Stretch Tents logo - a more modern, fresh look that reflects where we are today, while still staying true to who we’ve always been.

We’re still the same people, bringing the same passion, experience and love for creating incredible outdoor spaces - we’ve just given ourselves a fresh new look along the way.

Here’s to the next chapter! 🥂

Same tents. Same team. Fresh new look.
