A beautiful little wedding at Hewitts Homestead today. 🤍

It was such a pleasure to be the celebrant for this lovely couple as they said their vows and became husband and wife, surrounded by a small group of friends.

The weather outside may have been wet and grey, but inside the Homestead it was warm, intimate and full of happiness, proof that you really don’t need sunshine or a huge wedding to have a very special day.

There was something particularly poignant about today for me too. With Hewitts Homestead now on the market, this may have been the last wedding I conduct here, although certainly not my last wedding as a celebrant. ❤️

After so many ceremonies, so many couples and so many different love stories within these walls and gardens, it felt rather special to stand beside another couple today and have the privilege of saying those words:

“It is my pleasure to announce you as married.”

Congratulations to you both. Thank you for choosing me to be part of such an important moment in your lives. 🥂🤍
