He said: Itā€™s finally our wedding day and Iā€™m thinking back to when we first met over 12 years ago. Sparks were flying at Telecom as two employees chatted. You kept asking me questions about work but I couldnā€™t even look straight at you. So pretty, with cute short hair, those big round eyes, and that smile. But I got brave. I persisted. I flirted. And here we are today.

She said: We have finally arrived on our wedding day. Itā€™s been almost 13 years since I noticed this good looking man at work who wouldnā€™t look right at me when we talked. Nonetheless, we started talking, we started flirting and as the weeks went by our relationship flourished into something beautiful.

Why not run away and get married?! šŸ’’ āœˆļø šŸ˜‰

It started as an offhand comment for Californian couple Scott and Amber, but the idea took hold immediately. They had been to many weddings so asked their newly married friends for feedback on the idea. The answer: hell YES!

With just the ā€˜necessaryā€™ guests - celebrant and videographers Shelby .studios and Scott - Mr and Mrs Dokken had the wedding ceremony of their dreamsā€¦.on dreamy Tapeka Point, Russell.

At time of writing, the celebrant is still smiling at her memories of the early March ceremony x
