What a glorious celebration of community spirit at the FIKA community high tea luncheon at the Ohinemuri Club this afternoon! Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to each and every one of you who attended and played a pivotal role in making this event a towering success. Thanks to your collective efforts, we've triumphantly raised $400 for the Ohinemuri Club Maintenance and Development Fund and another $400 for Children in Care Thames. Your generous donations of preloved toys will bring immense joy to this wonderful charity, and we're deeply thankful for your kindness.

Our sincerest appreciation extends to all who supported our raffles, the Ohinemuri Club for graciously allowing us to use their premises, and our incredible sponsors Valley Funeral Services, Lorraine and Pete C, Jan and Ian M, Alicia M, Colette F, Robyn L and Evan S for their remarkable contributions to our raffle prizes. You've all embodied the true spirit of community and generosity, inspiring us all to make a difference.

Join us on August 9, 2025, from 12 to 2:30pm at the Ohinemuri Club, where we'll weave laughter, love, and community together. Our gatherings have blossomed over time, nurturing a haven for seniors to savor great fun, delicious food, and captivating entertainment, all at an affordable price. We're deeply grateful for your unwavering support and generosity, which have enabled us to uplift various charitable causes. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

At our upcoming FIKA Luncheon, we'll continue to uplift Children in Care Thames and the Ohinemuri Club Maintenance and Development Fund through our raffles, and your presence will make all the difference.
