I had great intentions of getting these out earlier in the season 🙈 all they want is someone to plant them as they have used up all the goodness in the potting mix. They will give you year after year of flowers. Dahlias are the queen of plant and forget flowers 😉

Come save them from the toddler who likes to pick the flower buds 😅

So many pretty flowers, and no time to pick them…

3 kiddos under 5 has been busy and seems to be getting busier in this season of life. I absolutely love being a Mum and that’s my top priority right now. So The Petal Patch has taken a back seat.
Taking this photo and writing this post has taken me over an hour because that’s life with little people who need me. I’m embracing the chaos ☺️

I picked a bucket of flowers the other day and they are still sitting on the deck waiting for me to now put them to rest in the compost 🙈🤣

I’ll eventually get flowers into the patch, but not today, and probably not tomorrow either 🤪
But I’ll let you know when they are there. I do have some dahlia plants heading there in the next few weeks 🌸
