A sweet little boxed posy for my nieces birthday 🎈

💐Work with The Petal Patch is over for the season, but my learning with florals certainly isn’t.

🌸Recently I’ve been learning how to do a single flower wrap, plant wraps and different bows, alongside learning from the amazing Iona at Moss and Co.

I’m so very close to finishing my level 2 certificate in Floristry 🤩

My eldest son is very protective of my gardens and loves watching me work with flowers. He told me that he “loved” this pink Gerbera, so I gave it to him and it made his night. He’s been carrying it everywhere 🥰

It’s been a bit quiet in The Petal Patch lately as I have finished my second paper and begun my third and final paper for my level 2 certificate in Floristry.
I am soon beginning my practical hours in town which is very exciting!
I’m hoping to have a few posies in the patch on Friday in time for the weekend.

Here’s a pic of a beauty, Missis Miley, that is just starting to pop out in the garden 😍 the most gorgeous shade of terracotta!

🧠 Tip for the day:
Did you know that if you put 1 teaspoon of sugar and a capful of bleach into your flowers water, they will last longer? The sugar feeds the flowers and the bleach helps to prevent bacterial growth.
