✨ Terry & Lisa’s Picnic Wedding @
Cornwall Park, Auckland, Saturday 22nd November 2025 ✨
On Saturday the 22nd of November I had the honour of officiating the intimate and faith filled wedding of Terry and Lisa. A ceremony that reminded me that the most beautiful moments in life are often the simplest ones.
No decorations.
No grand setup.
Just love, family, worship… and the unmistakable presence of God resting over us all.
Under the peaceful shade of Cornwall Parks natural green beauty, surrounded by those dearest to their hearts, Terry and Lisa chose a picnic style wedding that reflected exactly who they are humble, grounded, joyful, and deeply anchored in Christ.
Every part of their ceremony from the worship that opened the day, the vows spoken with such sincerity, to the covering prayer shared by their church family, carried a quiet strength and a sweetness that only God can author.
Their love story stood on its own without needing anything extra, because His grace was the true decoration. 🤍
What a privilege it was to witness two hearts becoming one...
Not for show, but for covenant.
Not for the setting, but for the purity of what their hearts were choosing.
Not for aesthetics, but for purpose.
Not for tradition, but for God’s design.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 that one person may be overcome, two can stand together, but a cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
A marriage built on two hearts can be shaken…but a marriage built with God cannot be overcome. For a cord of three strands is not quickly broken and when God is the third strand, it is not just strong…
It is enduring.
It is lasting.
It is unbreakable.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Taia 👩❤️👨💍
Thank you for trusting me with such a sacred moment. Your union was a reminder that love doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful it just needs to be rooted in God.
