Wee update... our last day is MONDAY 28TH AUGUST. You have 25 days to come and get some good Apron grub in you. After that date it will be under new management (and we still don't have much info to give you on that front).
Come and help us sell out of keep cups & cakes 😝

After six fun years serving the Onerahi community and regular passengers our time here is coming to an end.

28th August is our last day of trading and we would love to see you all lots before we leave!

Before anyone asks any questions, we don't know whats happening with the cafe - we are handing the cafe on to the airport. And we don't know what we're doing next.. probably sleeping for a while and then who knows.. life is an adventure!!

We've gone through a lot here together and have grown stronger & closer as The Apron whānau.

So much love and gratitude to you ALL. Honestly, from the bottom of our hearts thank you 💙

Still over here chugging away! Busy as ever and seriously neglecting social media.

First ever 100% GF morning tea for Bowling Infrastructure! Thankfully they remembered to take some photos for us!

Fruit. Slices. Cupcakes. Risotto cakes. Kūmara rosti. Frittata. Falafel stacks. Pizza slices. Bagel portions. Prawn mayo tartlets.

For the next couple of weeks we will be operating a limited service & smaller selection.

As we have shared already, I am overseas with my whānau and between now and 10th January we have another staff member on annual leave.

Either Mel or Sarah will be here daily but what they can pump out will vary day by day.

If you are looking for a relaxed visit and can be patient & flexible with us we would love to see you. If you're looking for a sit down lunch and think you might be disappointed with a limited selection, it's probably best to come and see us after 10th Jan.

Super grateful to my Apron team for holding down the cafe in my absence.

Off to see my family for the first time in 5 years!! Thank you Covid. First stop New Orleans.
Mel, Sarah, Kaley & Tianna will be manning the shop with the odd helper from time to time. Please be kind and patient as they may be short staffed particularly between Xmas and NYE.
Sending HUGE LOVE to Mel & Sarah who had their beloved Roo put to sleep yesterday as well 💔 what a year!
