12 years ago we hosted our first ever Expo style event - the Taranaki Weddings Bridal Fayre!

We didn’t really have a clue what we were doing, we organised the entire event with zero budget, spending less than $500 on advertising. I didn’t sleep at all the night before. We did $5 door sales and gave away Goodie Bags to the first 150 people resulting in over 300 people piling through the doors in the first 15 minutes. It was exhausting, it was stressful but it was a resounding success and within 24 hours we had rebooked the venue for our next event!

In 12 years we’ve learned so much, our events have evolved and thrived through the craziness of a pandemic and an economic crisis, we’ve upped our game and raised the bar year after year and we’re on track for our 18th exp in just over 7 months to be absolutely epic!

STALL APPLICATIONS for the 2027 Taranaki Weddings Show officially opened to our listed Vendors just under an hour ago and my notifications are going OFF!

I promise I’m not fibbing when I tell you 1/3 of our total stall spaces are already booked…..WHAT?!?
