Ooowweee the events on the food cart are going off at the moment, summer has started and the good times are rollin! Today we’re Kirby Lane for lunch AND dinner (that’s right folks, she’s a double whammy today!), serving lunch 11:30-2:30pm, and then back in the evening for the Nelson Arts Festival Tune Up event, serving 5-8pm. Today is a good day to be alive amigos, the sun is shining, the food is going to be absolutely delicious and the vibes exponentially awesome! So let the smoke guide you…and we’ll see you soon for something tasty yeewww!!

She’s a busy week for us amigos, so many opportunities for you to get your Viva fix, how good?! Here’s where you can find us this week:
Kirby Lane for lunch Thursday and Friday, and dinner Friday (yes you heard right we will be at Kirby Lane for dinner Friday for the Nelson Arts Festival Tune Up event, it’s gonna be a fab evening of delish food and tunes in the sunshine so come on down!)
Isel Market for dinner on Thursday
PadelCentre for lunch 10-4pm Saturday (think a spot of padel followed by a tasty lunch of empanadas and/or meat…what more could you ask for…)
Ngatimoti festival on Sunday 10-4pm

It’s on today amigos, Founders Heritage park is where it’s at!

We are exactly 7 days away from celebrating the vibrant Pacific communities of Te Tauihu at the Nelson Tasman Pasefika Festival 2026!

From dance and singing to contemporary Pacific music, traditional food and culinary demonstrations, a documentary, and a tapa cloth exhibition, there will be plenty of opportunities to experience and celebrate the richness of our Pacific cultures.

She’s a busy week this week amigos, so we all need to keep those energy levels up and we’ve got you covered, check out where to get your Viva fix this week:
Isel Market this arvo/eve for dinner (and a show!) serving 4:30pm until sunset (and the sun is coming out!)
Kirby Lane for lunch on Friday serving 11:30-2:30pm
Saturday we are at the Nelson City Council Pasefika festival Founders Heritage Park from 9am-4pm
And Sunday at our fave Motueka Sunday Market Market, serving 9-1pm.
So come grab a bite, and give El Hefe (Matu) a high five, he’s holding down the fort for our whānau while Chels recovers from surgery, and doing a flipping epic job of it - he may look a touch tired so a coffee wouldn’t go astray! See you soon amigos for something tasty!

Yewwww daylight savings has begun team and that means the 10th year of the Isel Market is starting - this Thursday is the first market of the season! So here is where you’ll find us for some tasty food this week:

Friday Kirby Lane serving 11:30-2:30pm
Sunday Motueka Sunday Market market serving 9-1pm
