Allure Entertainment is now curating for a new VIP Formal Event series coming mid year 2026 called 'Velvet Pulse'.

This is not a peak-time festival slot.
This is not hard techno.
This is not chaos.

Velvet Pulse is a slow burning groove through the night.
We are seeking DJs who understand deep groove over aggression.
- Emotion over ego
- Tension over drops
- Control over chaos

Sound Direction: 120–128 BPM preferred

Vocal deep house
Soulful house
Deep melodic house
Warm minimal grooves
Sensual basslines
Intentional progression

If your sets are built on punch-in-the-face drops or sharp percussive spikes, this is not the room.
We are curating for:
Arrival - Rising Pulses - Intense Heat - Controlled Descent.

You must understand restraint. You must understand space. You must understand how to hold a room without shouting at it.
This is a boutique experience.
Energy and emotional intelligence matter more than hype.

Okay… first things first. We are truly, deeply sorry to say that there won’t be a Wonderland at Arkadien this Easter. We know. We feel it too.

But rather than letting Easter drift quietly past, we are turning that longing into something special, connective, and very Arkadien.

This Easter Saturday we are hosting an Arkraiser!

A one-night gathering filled with music, magic, and mischief at one of our most treasured local venues, Paisley Stage. A venue that has held Arkadien with care, generosity, and belief. They have recently moved into a new home, and now it's our turn to show up. Let’s fill the space, bring warmth to the room, and show everyone what being a part of the Arkadien community feels like.

Everything raised on the night goes straight back into Arkadien - new gear, improvements to the site, and the many small details that help the next Arkadien weekend become the best one yet. Somehow, they always get better… and we want to make sure that continues.

We are beyond excited to announce an epic main act, COMMUNICATE, travelling down from Auckland and honestly, everyone is in for a treat. More artists will be announced soon.

There will be a raffle, there will be a wondrous dance floor, and yes, dress-ups are enthusiastically encouraged. Expression is part of what makes Arkadien feel like home.

The Postie will be weaving through the night, delivering messages, notes, and quiet moments of connection.

If you’ve ever wondered what Arkadien is all about, this is the perfect way to step inside. Just one night, no camping required. Come feel the music, meet the people behind it all and dance until your body tells you otherwise.

Thank you to every single person who came out to Darxyde Celsius to honour Simon and his deeply rooted love for sound.

The energy in that room was something truly special.... shared, intentional, and full of respect.

A special thank you to those who may not usually find themselves at a techno event, but showed up anyway. Your presence, openness, and willingness to experience something that meant so much to Simon did not go unnoticed. That act alone speaks volumes.

Your generous donations have been thankfully received by Simon's whanau and they're deeply touched by the amazing support network that became an extended family to him.

FiveOne, The Captain 👨🏾‍✈️

With over three decades immersed in dance music culture, FiveOne brings a lifetime of experience to the room. From Hard House roots through peak-time Techno, Melodic and Progressive territory, his sets are driven by control, momentum, and connection, built to move bodies and hold space.

A consistent presence on the dancefloor, FiveOne has built a loyal following across clubs, festivals, and self-produced events, alongside a wider community forged over years in the scene. Known for reading the room and shaping atmosphere, he plays with intent,letting restraint, pressure, and timing do the work.

This appearance carries a direct nod to our brother Simon “Sly” Stevens. A fellow Captain. One who wore the hat, stood at the controls, and helped shape the culture and direction of this scene. A brother in sound, humour, and respect, whose presence is still felt in the room.

The aim remains unchanged: bring people together, honour the weight of the night, and take it somewhere that matters.
