Last and definitely not least, we are very honoured to have Nixen and the amazing Te Ahu Collective as our local support.

DJ Nixen joins forces with Te Ahu Collective for a high-energy, collaborative set built around bass, house, hip hop and Aotearoa flavour. With a crew of DJs sharing the decks and MCs jumping up throughout the set, expect something loose, live and full of surprises.
The crew will also be dropping some original, unreleased tracks alongside carefully selected tunes made for the dance floor. It’s less of a traditional DJ set and more of a collective session, different sounds, different voices and plenty of energy, all coming together on one stage.

This beautiful Collective will be cherishing your ears and body 6.30-8pm, Parked Up this Friday 11 September.

Next on the lineup for In Session: Auckland Edition is the cheeky, but cute, Sneeky.

Originally from Tāmaki Makaurau and now holding it down in Te Matau-a-Māui, Sneeky is known for sets that don’t sit neatly in one box.

Think old-school house, filthy funk, raw tech, deep disco, indie and darker melodic rhythms, with a few surprises thrown in.

Founder of Sound Selectors and a big part of Hawke’s Bay’s dance music scene, Sneeky has played festivals including Relish, Abracadabra, Taniwha’s Den, AUM and Naked in the Trees, and shared line-ups with the likes of Sammy Virji, Antaares, FreqNasty, Flamingo Pier and Shapeshifter.

After making the Bay her home, she’s heading back to Tāmaki Makaurau and can’t wait to come home and share her sounds with the Auckland fam.

Catch Sneeky on first at Parked Up, 11th September 5-6.30pm

The Hawke's Bay crew are coming, Auckland are you ready?

On the 11th day of September, Sound Selectors takes over Parked Up for the first Auckland edition of In Session.

In Session started as a concept to bring in a variety of NZ's top selectors to the Hawke’s Bay. Considered selection and limited ticket sales allowed introduction of fresh sounds and an intimate dance floor with special connections. We’re flipping the script and bringing In Session to Tāmaki Makaurau with a lush selection of some of the Bays favorite selectors.

Coming up is a crew of DJs at different points in their journey, some newer to the booth, others who have been doing it for years, all aremconnected by a genuine love of music and creating magic on the dance floor.
Between them, they have played festivals across the motu and shared line-ups with some of Aotearoa’s finest, including Sanoi, Pasty S***t, Frank Booker and Communicate, as well as international heavyweights Carl Cox, Sammy Virji, Freq Nasty and Antaares.
