🥩 ONE MORE SLEEP TIL CHEESESTEAK THURSDAY! 🥩
The wait is worse than Christmas morning! 😂 And if last week was anything to go by, you’d better get in quick — they FLEW OUT THE DOOR!

Philly cheesesteaks & chicken cheesesteaks, grilled fresh and made right in front of you from 10am 🔥

Bring your friends, bring your workmates… although we can’t promise you’ll get much work done afterwards! 😂

We may have to start installing hammocks for all the meat hangovers! 🥩💤

And as my good mate Slade said:

People often ask, “Why is the deli only open 3 days a week?”
Well, this is why! 👇

There’s a whole lot that goes on behind the scenes before we open those doors.

Today was spent slicing around 50kg of bacon, preparing our brisket pastrami, and getting more meats into cure. 🥓

We make and smoke all of our own meats in-house — from ham and bacon to sausages, pastrami and everything in between.

And it doesn’t stop there. We also make all of our salads, dressings, sauces, rubs and more ourselves.

So while you might only see us open 3 days a week, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes the rest of the time!

It’s a lot of work, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

Real food. Made from scratch. Made by us.

Today’s selection is seriously delicious!

🥩 Brisket — so soft and tender, you can take your false teeth out to eat it! 😂

🐷 Pork — so fresh and juicy, if you put the pie next to your ear, you can still hear the oink! 🐽

🐔 Chicken — so good, you might find yourself clucking for a while after eating it! 😂

Holy smokes, the cheesesteaks went out the door today! 🔥🥪
I think we’re going to have to call it Cheesesteak Thursdays from now on! 😎

Righto, tomorrow is all about Pie Day Friday! 🥧🔥

Our Pitmaster pie selection will be ready from 10am onwards, but plenty of the other good stuff will be coming out from 7am.

And did I mention my favourite… the New York Reuben? 🤤

As one wise person once said… “Always blow on the pie first.” 😂🥧

🥓 NO GREAT STORY EVER STARTED FROM EATING A SALAD. 🥓
Tomorrow starts early — 5AM for the kitchen crew, ready to get the smokers, fryers and grills firing.

We’re open from 7AM with the breakfast of champions: bacon, bacon and more bacon, plus sausage and eggs. Cereal is for the weak. 😂

From 10AM, it’s cheese steaks, our Drunken Cow beef braised in b**r, garlic and fresh herbs — and yes, there’s plenty of b**r involved. 🍺

Then there are my favourites: Reuben sandwiches, classic or New York style.

And Chef Rhys has his secret-ingredient fried chicken, with at least three more herbs and spices than the Colonel himself. 🍗

We’re only open 3 days a week because good things take time. We cure and smoke our own meats and make as much as we can ourselves.

Because shortcuts are for salads.
