One year already - how did that go by so fast?

Tai and Belinda were the couple who reminded us that wedding days are meant to be lived, laughed through, and fully embraced. From wandering through the gardens to literally jumping fences for the perfect shot, their day was full of joy, adventure, and the kind of love that never takes itself too seriously.

One year ago today, Karli and Ethan threw one of the most joyful, high-energy celebrations we have ever hosted - and this photo still sums it up perfectly. Confetti flying, sunshine pouring in, and these two absolutely glowing as they headed back up the aisle.

From the iconic cheese cake (still one of our favourite choices ever) to Roster’s legendary photobomb and all the laughter in between, your wedding had a spirit that was so authentically you. Fun, relaxed, a little bit cheeky, and full of love.

Our Story

Each wedding we are involved in is unique. No matter which day your wedding falls on, we love to help you plan your special day.

The Stables building is an iconic, vintage, open plan, large venue situated within the Equestrian Matakana Country Park between Matakana Village and Omaha Beach. We are perfectly set up for either a summer wedding with large glass doors that open onto our outdoor patio and manicured lawns, or a cosy winter wedding making use of the huge fireplaces on each end of the dining room and the heated stone floors.
