Openlands Country Garden A Country Garden with a 100 year old Church, great for weddings and Functions: visit by appointment only Now Openlands is a dairy farm with a handful of sheep.

Welcome to Openlands, a country garden and wedding venue. . Established in 1961 from a ½ acre section of land with nothing more than two trees and a homestead. Originally the property was a sheep and pig farm with a handful of dairy cows. When we took over in 1979, it was easy for us to extend the boundaries into what was paddocks, to create 2 ½ acres of our now relaxing and tranquil garden. With

the addition of a local church in 2005, we have had the opportunity to provide a venue that can cater of all occasions. Many wedding parties have used this to their advantage by holding their ceremonies either indoor or outdoors, nibbles and photos all in one place. Without having to worry about the weather. Openlands - Wedding VenueOpenlands invites visitors to explore the many crooks and crannies of its magical setting. Picnickers are welcome to sit and enjoy the water features and bask in the warmth that spring and summer has gifted us. Viewing times are by appointment only. Large groups are welcome.

Support our Year 7/8 Girls Basketball Team

Our talented Year 7/8 girls basketball team has earned the opportunity to compete at the NZ AIMS Games. This is an incredible chance for our players to represent our school, develop their skills, and create lifelong memories.

We are raising funds to help cover travel, accommodation, registration, and tournament costs. Every contribution, big or small, will help our team get to the NZ AIMS Games and compete at their best.
