FEMME N BASS

FEMME N BASS Femme n Bass was born when a craving to host great bass music met the desire to showcase Aotearoa’s best femme and gender diverse DJs and producers.

We organise and host gigs in Pōneke, providing big beats, deep bass and tunes to move your body to. In the typically dude-heavy music industry, we think it’s important to create spaces for femme and gender diverse artists to strut their stuff. We champion consent culture and respect for each other, in the spaces we run and all the time!

Speaking of empowering femme and trans babes in cis-dude-dominated spaces - check out the PledgeMe for Cahoots, a new workshop and makerspace just over in Mount Cook, Pōneke. What a wicket project! Pledge a few dollars if you can

Help us build a community space in Pōneke, exclusively for women and gender diverse folks to build, create, repair and make.
